Seems pretty heavy duty. The moving parts are not precision designed but it works just fine so far. I like the non-abrasive strap for what I'm using it for.

Difficult to use.Hard to pull strap out.Two pulling pawls are somewhat independent of each other and often don't make good contact.The holding pawl doesn't make good contact either and when the strap is almost completely retracted it sometimes prevents the holding pawl from contacting the toothed wheel at all.Do not trust this under load and do not use it for critical tasks, it is dangerous.

I like the strap instead of the normal cable. Easy to use. Does not kink.

does what I needed and dont have to worry about metal slivers or burrs and rust when its stored which is most of the time.

works fine with no cable burrs .
