Bought this to replace a similar stool that gave up the ghost after 20 years. The improved design on this one is amazing. Lighter weight, yet is rated at more than twice the capacity of the other one, which the seller/manufacturer states is due to better engineering. Folds up more readily and has a lever to lock it in place. Very stable. I got the navy without bumps, as this will be used as a shower seat for a senior. The color of the item matched the picture. Before I removed the wrapper the stool measured shorter than described, but that's just because it is packaged not fully assembled so it takes up less space. Assembly instructions were very clear, and easy. One step.

It is very easy to open up, put pins in and your ready to use it. Great value for the money. I love that it folds up. It's very stable, you can sit on it with a cushion or a folded towel. Its size is high enough when you sit and not to high if you place something on it. We'll be sitting a tower fan on it because its the perfect height. This stool has lost of uses around the house & outside.

I bought a couple of these in order to be able to reach high shelves in a couple of closets. They do the job nicely. Well constructed out of hard plastic, they open and close effortlessly and are easy to store when not in use. I would definitely purchase these again.

This is an ok product. One at Walmart, although not tall enough, was cheaper and much stronger. I doubt this step stool would hold 300# as stated. I will give it a try because I need it now....

I needed a solid stool that wasn't going to take up a lot of space. This stool arrived on time with great packaging. I have had a few of these in the past but this seems to be constructed with a heavier plastic that seems stronger. I weigh 235 pounds, and this stool holds my weight with no problem. From an assembly perspective you just need to insert the two pivot pins before use. Folds just by lifting handle and unfolds just by applying downward force on the handle. Super happy with the design and quality!

I purchased this step stool for one reason and one reason only. I wanted a portable seat that I could just put anywhere I was out and about taking pictures or videos. I am always on my feet, and the convenience of having a chair with me just never seemed possible. That was, until I saw another photographer carrying one with them and it hit me - that is the perfect seat! I ordered a taller one because I am 6' tall and about 200lbs. This stool is perfect. I can even stand on it to reach things that were previously out of reach, or to get shots that I normally couldn't get!
