Beautiful
Perfect coloring for my blackbirds. Lovely to knit with.

just ok
The color of this yarn is lovely, vibrant. It does tend to split when using a crochet hook to correct a dropped kniting stitch.

Beautiful sock yarn
This is my first time knitting socks and I love how this yarn feels on my feet. Very soft and beautiful.

Lovely yarn
Loved this yarn! The slight variation of color, the softness, the way it felt in my hands while knitting it! Highly recommend!

So soft and squishy
Gorgeous yarn. It's so smooth and soft it almost doesn't feel like wool. I never felt merino before this yarn and it's so lovely. The colorway is wonderful, from a medium grey to black. Now that it's wound into a ball I can hardly wait until I get through my current projects and get to crochet with it!

Yarn is thin but strong
This yarn was thinner than I usually use and it took a while to get used to that but the yarn is very strong - I couldn’t break it with a strong tug - so I am sure the socks will last much longer then those made with the less expensive yarn that I find locally.

Not “Pearescent” and fuzzy fiber
I have ordered a few KnitPicks skeins and been happy with them. Today I received “Pearlescent Tonal” and dissatissfied. The name “Pearlescent” to me describes a fairly white color with a pearl sheen. I ordered Bare Glimmer last time and it had shimmering fiber running through it. It definately glimmered! But “pearlescent” is completely flat. The colors are an off white (“bare” or un-dyed color) mixed with a very light grey. The grey may have warm grey and cool grey tones. I took lots of pics in various light to show the color. I would maybe call this a “river seashell” type color but not “pearlescent” color. The real diasapointment is that the fiber looks like a ball of yarn after being carried around in a project bag for 3 months. The fiber is balling up and fuzzy. While it is pleasantly soft (unlike their Hawthorne fiber), this skein has unfortunately started to look worse for wear. :(Probably, someone returned it before i received it, also unhappy with its deceiving color description/name.
