I’ve been using this for only a few days now and I think it’s doing it’s job. I have an English Mastiff 1 yr old male puppy. He weighs around 200lbs and has very thick neck. He is an Alpha male and very jealous of my female. He’s very exuberant and energetic. I had to purchase a separate collar that would fit into the one provided to extend the length. Easy and expected. I was worried about pain so I tried it on myself! LOL I put it on my lower thigh, just above my knee, and set it for 25. It was very a surprising, shocking feeling but it didn’t penetrate the skin and didn’t leave a mark. I could tolerate the “pain.” I didn’t feel it was unnecessarily painful so i proceeded. My boy has already associated the sound to the behavior and usually sits when he hears it. I have it set to 50, as he is a tough guy and doesn’t even recognize anything under about 45. The only “problem” is that it is great for any behavior you would say, “No” to but it won’t work for commands like “sit” or “get down.” It’s great for correction but not for training. Example: He “mouths” people. It wouldn’t be so bad if his teeth were smaller but he is huge so it’s a huge issue and he knows he’s not supposed to do that EVER. I say no, if he doesn’t stop, i press the sound button and say no again. If he still doesn’t stop, i zap him. Then he stops. But if i want him to “get down,” I have to physically help him down, say the command until he gets it. The collar won’t help him in that case. Gets confusing sometimes but it is working, even after only a couple of days. Hope this helps.

I bought this to assist with trying to train my unruly husky. I even tested it on myself first to make sure it wasnt cruel, the shock felt basically like the game at carnivals where you try to hold on as long as you can. So I figured it would be uncomfortable enough to get him to stop the bad behavior immediately if I had to use that button.....The beeper makes him run in circles, the vibration makes him pause, the shock does absolutely nothing to him. He goes wild barking like crazy when I'm cooking, so it can get quite annoying, I tried shushing him it makes it worse. So I tried the collar he just continues barking like nothing is going on doesn't miss a beat.

Never charged. Got to use it until the first charge (that it came with) was done and nothing since. Get to buy another collar, and won’t be this one.

Okay so this is a good product, battery lasts long when you take care of it and charge it like you’re suppose to. However, the strap for adjusting gets loose when your dog wears it for a while which causes the settings to not function because they can’t feel it if it’s loose. I’m unsure how to fix it but other than that it’s a good product.

The best dog training collar that I have ever invested! Not kidding! Like this brand better than Pet Safe in fact! Price is right too! Better than a expected. Very impressed!

Trained my dog to not eat poop in just one week. Excellent range, and great choice of strength. I highly recommend this collar.

Got this item a few months ago the sound and vibration still works but shock no longer works. Waste of money

Really happy with this collar. Does everything we want . Our dog had only been shocked 1 time and responds great to beep and vibration. Really glad it has all these features.
