Make and Play: Farm

The media could not be loaded.  2.5 year old loves these make and play books. The Farm is the first book in the series we purchased. We got weeks of daily play out of these characters until I changed the theme. All the pop out characters go neatly back into the book to store away which I love. We have kept a few animals out for story play as he seems to prefer these cardboard characters to his Holztiger collection!The characters are of good quality and are made with thick durable card. The artwork is visually pleasing with lovely bright colours. Really love the detail of each character. Slight bit of a challenge for a 2 year old to pop/press-out and put together, though once shown he did with ease. Tough enough to withstand toddler crushing; only the hens got ripped apart but were easily sellotaped back together! All the figures are standing that require base foot/leg inserts. Great for developing fine motor skills and open ended play. The back pages have recipes, songs and games. Great for repetition of taking apart, putting back together and role play. Will continue to purchase more in series.
