Musical Instruments Stickers (Dover Little Activity Books: Music)

Nice colors, well-made, stay put on paper.

I bought this before I knew what instruments were included. Each booklet contains one of the following: violin, drum, saxophone, triangle, tuba, hand bell, electric guitar, clarinet, trumpet (which has the slide on the wrong side), harp, maracas, tambourine, flute, cymbals, recorder, and xylophone.

We reward my daughter with stickers for mastering songs in her music lessons, and these stickers are perfect for that; much more fun and appropriate than generic star stickers or other unrelated themes. 16 colorful, cartoon-like stickers, exactly like the ones depicted in the picture, which seems fine for $2.

I would give it 5 stars, but unlike other little Dover books (like the farm one) it does not have any scene to put the stickers on. Since my son is young and still only puts stickers on his shirt, I was hoping for some place to stick them to be included. If you are not familiar with little Dover books, they are only a little bigger then a dollar bill. So it is just, as promised, stickers. The instruments are labeled on the pages, which is nice. Although, the labels are not part of the sticker. We have stickers of violin, saxophone, (snare, marching) drum, triangle, (concert, not marching) tuba, handbell, clarinet, electric guitar ( no amp ), trumpet, harp, maracas, tambourine, flute, cymbals, recorder and xylophone. All the pics are colorful drawings of these instruments, not actual pic of the real instruments. They are also not all that detailed, although all are easily recognizable.

Our guests used these stickers to label their drinking glasses for a music themed birthday party and everyone loved it. The size of the stickers were great for that purpose. They were very easy to peel off at the end of the party.

I liked the stickers because there are handbell stickers. When I teach Handbell Choir on the piano, the student is awarded a Handbell sticker after they perform it. My students play songs about a tuba and a drum. Then, again, the student is awarded a tuba or drum depending upon the song.

A lot smaller book than expected, with less stickers. But I guess you can't really expect more for the price. I bet the price barely covered their shipping let alone the book. So, fair deal.

A cute little prize for my Minimusic Class. Good value.

They should be listed as children's stickers, because that is what they are. My mistake.
