Does it work with a canon rebel t6?

Yes, it worked perfectly with my Canon Rebel T6.

Can this be used with the nikon z6 with bbf enabled. function button for afon?

I have d850 and I use bbf and it works. If your camera is listed it should work. I was actually shocked that I do t have to go and change anything in the options. You connect and simply click!

Does the receiver have to be mounted on the hotshoe to work?

No. For instance you can mount your flash on the hotshoe. Plug in the receiver to the camera and find a way not to keep it dangling. Then your transmitter will trigger both the camera and flash. Works well on my Nikon Z6

I bought for my sony a7rii. after connecting, the transmitter lights up and blinks but does not focus or take the picture. solutions?

Is the autofocus selected on your lens and camera? Hold button halfway like your would on camera until it focuses. Don’t just snap all the way. Hope this helps!
