Great for first 30 rides
I used this hackamore for the first 30 rides or so on my colt. The reins are a good length and weight. Overall the hackamore fit his head well and was easy to adjust. Great value for the price. I was worried that it might be a piece of junk for how cheap it was, but I was very pleasantly surprised. No issues whatsoever. Would recommend to others.

The nylon gets a little fuzzy after a while
I use this on my first 3-4 days of riding. I like the stiff nose band that gets my horses responding well. BETTER than riding first with halters. They respond well, I’ve had this hackamore for a month now and have used it on 4 different horses before introducing the snaffle. Good item for a reasonable price

Poor quality rope
Very poor quality rope. After very little use the reins rope shredded and broke under moderate pressure.Would not buy again

Good Hackamore
I purchased this to start my 3 yr old pinto QH-type filly. The bridle and hackamore are easy to fit a standard head size and are a good quality at a good price. The macate is too short if you want to tie it safely (closed reins w/lead - the left over lead won't reach to tuck in anywhere). If you want open reins then it's plenty long, but since this is advertised as a "breaking" hackamore, I expected the macate to be longer so it could be tied properly.

Poorly thought out.
The nose band came folded down the middle and the hide won't release the fold. Fits horse well however looks ugly. As its not round. Bridle it comes on is very cheaply made. I ended up spending more money buy putting the nose band in a leather Bridle. Would be more cost effective if I would have bought nose band by itself.

Great for young horses!
I really like this hackamore for breaking young horses. However, I wouldn't recommend this for a horse with a bigger head/nose as the noseband doesn't have much room for growth. Nevertheless, this works great for those young horses with smaller heads.

Nice for horse and rider
I love this. Very durable. I was able to shape it to my horses face. The reins are long and not attached. Still gives you lots of control, nice bosal. I competed in a rodeo in it! However I did lose a rein while I did it. So if you don't know how to ride with one rein tie the reins together!!
