I started off carving wood, but have transitioned to mainly linocuts. Over the years i heard so many good things about power grip, but never actually needed anything this small. I decided to purchase the ones i need as singles, and the 1.5mm small v was the first purchase. The value is great, 7 dollars is cheap for the quality. They feel great in hand, so easy to use makes doing details much better

A Japanese brand! After World War Two Japan decided to make Quality produces; they would not compromise on quality. The best wood carving tools are made there. You can buy one at a time or get the whole set. This chisel is very good for close-up detail.

Ordered a five-piece carving set from the same company and was very satisfied. Needed a very fine v-groove for Lino carving and ordered this. Just what I needed. Didn't want the throwaway interchangeable blade tools and didn't want to invest too much just starting. It feels good in my hand even when used for long periods. Stays pretty sharp and is easy to hone for super sharp. Nice carving tool for fine work.

If you are considering one of these tools, try it. Great quality for the money and a very useful and efficient tool to have. I have bought several of different sizes and shapes and like them all!
