Great bow, durable, easy to use. Reel has done well. The slide stop did break off of the arrow after 40-50 shots, but I shoot off of the rip rap rocks near spillways...so rough conditions. Anyway, you don’t want an arrow with a slide for a spin cast reel. It is better to tie it off through the hole on the back of the arrow as a safety precaution to keep you from shooting without pressing the button on the reel. Which could destroy your reel. Do yourself a favor and take the slide and slide stop off of the arrow when you get it. I like the recurve for quick shots, and I can draw it back further for longer or deeper shots. My wife even likes the bow, she just gets worn out on it after 60-70 shots because of the draw weight. Good durable bow, good reel, decent arrow.

Bow is not that strong, but then it is enough for fish a foot or two under the water. Easy to assemble and use. REMEMBER TO RELEASE TENSION LOCK ON REEL BEFORE YOU SHOOT! Should have a printed warning on the limbs for that, for friends who pick it up when you are not there.

Box was all torn up and taped. Scratches and dirt on the bow. Obviously a returned item that had seen some use. Sold as new. Other than that, happy with the product. Very sturdy and well built. I'll keep it. Havent used it yet but plan on it soon. Heading to Lake Fork to chase some monster Gar and Bowfin up in them sloughs and creeks..

Arrived timely and well packaged. First issue: no instructions for assembly, for use, or for care. Nothing. Have never purchased a bow and not received instructions. Second issue: arrow rest has 2 interlocking pieces. The piece that attaches to the bow was chipped, making arrow rest unusable. Anxious to use, I purchased another arrow rest and used it. Third issue: 2nd shot, arrow was lost. Water too deep to recover. Unknown if string broke or plastic safety slide broke. Was not the knot. Tied in accordance with instructions obtained elsewhere. As stated earlier, there were no instructions at all for this bow. We will see how the seller responds to these issues. So far, pretty disappointed and have not even really got to use it yet.

I actually purchase this exact bow from Academy. Absolute junk. Reel broke on third shot. I tried to take a chance even though I saw where other people had trouble with the reel, but they were spot-on. Don't buy this or you'll end up wasting more time returning it.

After six attemptes the reel stopped working, wouldn't retract line.After anhour of trying too fix it. EndedUp just swapping out for a driffernt oneWorked for five more shots and the arowNoch broke off🤪 that was the end of myFishing outing.

Right after unboxing an setup maybe ten give or take practice shots Reel will stop retracting line. Returned product immediately.
