I've found that Purina ONE Tender Selects Blend with Real Chicken hits the perfect balance of quality and affordability. It’s a staple in my house because it’s recommended by shelters and vets as a nutritionally balanced dry food—nothing too fancy or expensive unless a specific health need arises. The chicken specifically is the best. I've tried the salmon but honestly, that left the litterbox area a bit more smelly.I used to have one heavier and one thinner cat. Since switching, I've found it much easier to regulate their weight. My thinner cat just hasn't had much of an appetite in the past. I travel a lot and can't always feed them wet food but this has helped with his appetite and now he's a healthy weight.

I bought this food for my "grandchild" cat while she is with us because of name brand and quality but specifically chose it because of value/price. Oh. My. Word. This finicky cat goes NUTS when she hears sounds of her breakfast dishes being placed out. I am tripping over her as I get her food out of the pantry. She has gone from more interested in what I'm adding to our lab's food bowl, to pacing and not politly waiting and demanding her food. The cat LOVES this food like no other she has had in the 3+ years she has stayed with us. Dry OR wet. I have even told my daughter when she moves back out, not to deviate! Her Lucky Penny thinks this is great tasting food!!!

Initial evaluation: I've been feeding my boys another well branded food for skin and digestion. We've had lots of bits and pieces left around the bowls. I opened the bag from this delivery and they both perked up. Upon filling the bowls, they ate heartily. I think I found the best food for my boys <3

This is legit the only food my cats will eat. They love the little bits of soft chicken that are mixed in with the pellets. I like this food because it does not make their breath smell strongly and does not affect their gut health in a negative way.
