I know a lot of people don’t use UV filters, but I like to have them for protection. I’m often at the beach and it keeps the front of the lens protected from sea spray and sand.This UV filter is one of the best I’ve used. It doesn’t affect picture quality at all, and the ridged parts make it easy to grip the filter to remove or attach it. It feels good quality and is barely noticeable on the front of the lens. It comes in a padded plastic box so it’s useful if you need to store it for future use.I was pleasantly surprised to see that the filter came with three individually sealed microfibre cloths which are always handy. They’re good quality and do a great job of cleaning the lens without leaving smears.The only downside for me is there’s no thread on the outer part of the filter, so you can’t attach another filter on top. This isn’t a major issue, I’ll just need to remove the filter before attaching another one.

I’ve been purchasing K&F products for a while now and they have never let me down. Actually they even saved one of my lenses when my camera fell onto the concrete floor. The lens protector cracked but the actual expensive lens was in mint condition!This is a great lens protector and is very budget friendly! Great value for money

Decided to give it a go based on review in Digital Camera as my usual choice of Hoya was out of stock and I wanted it for a new lens. Seems very good, well made, attached easily and came with good quality packaging and three free cleaning cloths!

The filter offered has excellent coating and good light transmission. It is well packaged dust free and the cleaning microfiber cloth is a nice touch.However, it is not for every lens out there. While I do like the knurled ring for a better tactile feel, it makes it impossible for certain lenses like my sigma 45mm 2.8 lens, to have the hood fitted in.The knurling protrudes beyond the diameter of the filter getting in the way of the hood. I hope K&F will offer options when it comes to their filter ring design to circumvent this problem.

En mi opinión, el filtro ofrece una calidad digna en su categoría. En la mayoría de los casos, el filtro no distorsiona la imagen ni provoca aberraciones ópticas notables. El filtro tiene una buena construcción y se enrosca fácilmente en la lente, asegurando una conexión ajustada y segura, evitando cualquier posible caída accidental del filtro durante el uso. El filtro a menudo viene con toallitas para la limpieza de lentes, lo cual es un agradable bono que ayuda a mantener la lente y el filtro limpios y en buen estado, y son de buena calidad. El filtro viene en un estuche rígido que previene daños y es bastante conveniente para almacenar. En funcionamiento, el filtro no causa reflejos o destellos significativos, no amarillea ni distorsiona los colores en las imágenes, proporcionando colores naturales y precisos.
