Portable Automatic Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor with Heart Rate Meter, Hypertension Color Alert Display, Two User Modes, IHB Indicator and Memory Recall

Now that I've had and used this monitor for the past couple of weeks, I recommend this product to anyone that is determined to keep an eye on their blood pressure and heart rate. Heart disease runs in the family and I was just diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes. I purchased this item along with a few other items to keep a watchful eye on my body and it's changes. Hypertension is known as a silent killer. I lost my baby brother August 2015 to complications associated with this condition. He was 49. One of the problems I have noticed in Hypertensive patients (family and friends included) is the reluctance to monitor at home. They rest with whatever numbers are reported at their doctors' visits. Like diabetes, unless you are checking these numbers on a daily basis, you have NO IDEA what is going on with your body. It is my belief if we see the changes early, we MAY BE able to save and even sustain our health and life far better than those that don't.This Wrist Monitor is fabulous! Easy to set up out of the box. Once set up, you can begin monitoring immediately. It stores numbers for one or two individuals. Small and convenient. Tucks into your tote if you need to carry with you. A nice addition, if you have a problem, you can call the manufacturer (I did). The number is in the instruction manual. I am very pleased with this item after one week of use. The initial readings seemed high, but with practice we have been able to get very accurate readings. I have not yet been able to make anA/B comparison with a doctor's meter, but the readings are consistent with past "professional" readings.The unit is small, light and easy to use. The display has good contrast, the numbers are large and I especially like the fact that there are two large memory caches. I would have preferred a leather or hard case, as some units have, but I'm sure that the inclusion of those would hjave rasied the price or lowered the quality. The cloth bag is m ore than adequate, just not as sexy ☺

Good product, accuracy is not quite spot on when done once and only but it does calculate an average which is good. As I have used it more, I have begun to understand some of the nuances of the device and how to compensate to get a more accurate reading. What I like about this device is the ease of use, small in size, and quickness of the measurements. It really is easy and simple which I think most people are looking for. Accuracy gets better as you get experience working the device. I compared it to an old cheap pump and listen device and it was fairly accurate. Sometimes the device will give you some weird readings and you simply will have to retake it- which is why the "average" feature is necessary. It tracks that on its on and will give you that after 10 or more readings. This device can also track two people so that may be convenient for some. So if you want something fairly simple and quick that you can administer yourself...it's ok. If you want professional, you have to spend more and get an automatic arm pump. But you sacrifice size and ease of use. Once you learn this device you can get a fairly accurate reading. I would give this product 3.5 / 4 stars or C+ Maybe a low B rating just because it is easy but takes some experience to get it right.

I purchased this for an elderly friend of mine (88 yrs old). She could no longer check her BP at her local pharmacy because the machines had gotten too complicated for her and help was not always readily available. Her doctor had advised her to keep track of her BP and this caused her some anxiety - because she couldn't manage to do that. Finally, I had the chance to get her something she could really use - so on her 88th birthday I gave her this. She was SO happy! It is VERY simple to use. Exactly the the info she needed - no more, no less. Not complicated at all. Just put it on the wrist with the palm of your hand up and rest your elbow on a flat surface - hold your arm up and out so that your wrist is about level with your heart - and that's it. I did help her with it the first time she used it - but that is understandable - we all need help with new things, right?

In paper this is a winner: small, functional, simple and inexpensive.In reality all this remains true. A very small device with an easy readable screen, simple functionality, memory... All that is great. Unfortunately the measurements are very inconsistent and for as much I wanted to blame it on the operator but I couldn't. I shared my impression with my physician and he just chuckled and advised me to toss it. He cleared the operator of error and told me he has yet to see a device that reads from the wrist and is consistent.

While the MeasuPro is convenient to use, compared to a cuff type, I have found the product to be untrustworthy regarding accuracy. It may be on the money occasionally but many times the readings are off by about 10 or 15 points. Significant. I have checked it with the cuff type unit I have and have confirmed that. I have talked with some doctors offices that use or have used in the past wrist type unit. They all say that they frequently had to double check with a cuff because their wrist units were not accurate. They had different brands of wrist units from the MeasuPro so it appears that wrist type units in general are not very trustworthy. I've been using the MeasuPro unit for about a month now. Will keep using it for a while but at the same time be check with the cuff unit as well. After I'm sure that I am using the MeasuPro correctly and still get the faulty results I will have to go back to using just the cuff type. In summary, user beware.

My wife got this to monitor her blood pressures instead of having to go down to our pharmacy every week to check her pressures. She used it for a few days and seemed to work well. She even took her pressures and went down to the pharmacy to compare to see if it was accurate. It was pretty close, only off by a couple of numbers and she did them within an hour of each other. She was happy that they were pretty much the same between the 2 testers, I like that I can use it too and it is able to track both of us individually.

I bought this product as I'm a typical English bloke who doesn't like to bother his doctor with non serious issues. It's really easy to use although I first I thought it was reading high 210:120 seemed quite high! You have to make sure the monitor is at the same height as your heart for accurate and consistent readings. I calibrated the monitor with one at our works nurses office. Needless to say I was still in the 190+:110+ range. It's data like this that really does make you sit up and take note. I went to the doctors and started a series of tests. In addition I have minimised salt intake and reduced alcohol and processed foods plus now exercise more. All the guidance that you should do!! 9 weeks later 25lb lighter normal blood pressure and not on medicines. I do not think I would have made these changes or kept doing them if I hadn't have bought this monitor

Ho già uno sfigometro professionale mene serviva uno portatile, in genere sono scettico puntare a marche che non conosco, eppure dopo aver letto, guardato, pensato... L'istinto mi ha detto di prendere questo, arriva nella scatola originale ben protetto con batterie, spiegazione italiano ed un sacchetto di stoffa morbida a farne da custodia, inserite le pile leggendo il manuale ho settato anno, data, orario per poi trovarmi al punto della prova... Premetto che il misuratore é in materiale plastico ben fatto, abbiamo 2 persone differenti che possono utilizzarlo, fascia confortevole,., iniziando la misurazione il tutto procede da manuale premendo utente n. 1 per l'avvio, pochissimo tempo e già ho i risultati, comparati con misura sul professionale la differenza è +2 in massima, ripetuto il test +1 di differenza, sorpreso mi rendo conto che effettivamente pur considerandolo di linea guida i risultati non differiscono di molto, bingo! Non ho sbagliato la scelta! , il misuratore portatile ha anche la capacità di memorizzare 60 misurazioni per profilo, avverte quando la pressione é pericolosa, battito non regolare, statistiche delle misurazioni oltre al segnale di batterie scariche si spegne da solo.... Cosa devo dire di più? Completamente soddisfatto, mi sento di consigliarlo.

Da meine Mutter Probleme mit dem Blutdruck hat und gerne auch selbstständig ohne Arzt ihren Blutdruck einmal messen wollte musste natürlich ein entsprechendes Gerät her. Es gibt zwar eine unzählige Anzahl von Geräten doch aus preislichen Gründen und aus Gründen der guten Bewertungen habe ich mich Letzen Endes für dieses Gerät hier entschieden. Wie wir das Gerät empfinden und bewerten lesen sie im Folgenden:Verarbeitung:Das Gerät kam bei uns an und wir packten es aus. Der erste Eindruck war durchweg positiv. Das Gerät macht einem kompakten, stabilen und durchaus robusten Eindruck. Es besteht komplett aus Plastik. Verarbeitungsmägeln in Form von übergroßen Spaltmaßen oder defekten Gehäuseteilen konnten wir nicht entdecken.Bedienung:Das Gerät wird um den Unterarm geschnallt. Dafür muss das Stoffband geöffnet werden, um den Unterarm gelegt werden und mittels eines Klettverschlusses verschlossen werden. Anschließend geht es an die Bedienung des Gerätes. Das Gerät hat erstmal 2 Knöpfe um Personen einzutragen. Wenn sie einen der beiden Knöpfe (rechts) Drücken fängt das Gerät sofort an zu messen und ordnet den Wert der Person zu. Es können nur 2 Personen eingestellt werden. Bei uns ist es so, dass Person 1 meine Mutter und Person 2 quasi der Rest der Familie darstellt. Ältere Messergebnisse von beiden Personen können nachgeschaut werden über den unteren KnopfDas Display und die Darstellung der Ergebnisse:Das Display ist extrem hell und ist auch für schlecht sehende Menschen sehr gut ablesbar. Zumindest was den Blutdruck angeht. Nach einer erfolgreichen Messung wird unter anderem der Blutdruck (max und min Blutdruck) und der aktuelle Puls angezeigt. Insgesamt finde ich die Darstellung wirklich super und auch das Display ausreichend scharf und gut lesbar.Fazit:Ich denke zu diesem Preis gibt es hier absolut nichts zu meckern. Sie bekommen ein sehr zuverlässiges Gerät was innerhalb von kurzer Zeit (vllt 20-30sek) einen brauchbaren Blutdruck und Puls angibt mit dem man auch was anfangen kann. Wenn sie also ein günstiges und gutes Gerät suchen sind sie hier genau richtig. Das Gerät ist übrigens Batteriebetrieben! Ich gebe hierauf eine klare Kaufempfehlung!
