Godox AK-R1 Round Head Accessories Kit & S-R1 Flash Head Adapter | Compatible for GODOX V860II TT685 TT600 Compatible with Canon with Nikon with Sony Camera Flash Speedlight

I like that this works with my Godox V860ii flashes and AD200. I’ve recently also purchased the V1 so I can use the whole set without the adapter. The dome has been the most used along with the color temp filters and grid. I really liked the idea of the bounce card but the magnet just isn’t strong enough to keep the darn thing on. I tested the system on a few event gigs and I’ll likely never use the flash bounce card again. One little bump against my leg or a chair and it’s on the floor. It also doesn’t quite fit in the case so you sort of have to warp it to fit it in and it feels like it could break. I’m used to a narrower version of the grid so I’ve tried using the snoot as an option but for my purposes it wasn’t the best idea. I do like that it all fits in small case. All in all it’s a good and a little bit more affordable version of the Magmod but with its issues could be sold at an even lower price point.

I bought this for my regular rectangular Godox flash units. This is a compact kit with a lot of possibilities. I especially love the diffuser dome that really spreads nice even light around the room. I find it far better than the cumbersome Gary Fong Universal bounce that is cumbersome and tends to either fall on the floor or ruin the elbow of your flash. The bard doors are something I missed from when I used studio lighting so I look forward to adding this in my photo shoot.s This is a good deal for a lot of useful photo toys.

What a great set of adapters! I ust them on my Godox V850II flash and have no problems. Love the ease of use since because of the magnitic attachments on the adapter. Overall a great set of accessories and good quality materials.

I'll start by saying yes, you lose some power with the adapter (especially compared to the new round head flash) but you also gain convenience and functionality. The dome cap and bounce card are what I was really after but having the grid and super easy to attach snoot have provided me a ton of options for lighting. Since I also have an ad200 with the round head, getting the kit with the adapter just means I have more options.

I haven’t use them yet but everything fits amazing in my speed-light. I can wait to play with it! Do you guys happen to have any more color gels?

It's a nice way to adapt the magnetic modifiers to most ant shoe mount flash. I wish the CTO gels were a bit more (color temperature) accurate, but I've found easy enough workarounds. Fast ship too.

Good addition, it makes the v860II more versatile. The opening of the snoot I find it a little too big not too suitable for a narrow beam, but other than that is all good!

Godox flash accessories kit is great, useful, efficient. With the magnetic attachment, changing modifiers is so easy and efficient.
