it's a quality hatch
I like the level of quality . Fit and finish are really good.I installed the inspection hatch on the heater box of my Dodge pickup .Now I can just unscrew the cover , reach in and remove the leaves the accumulate inside it .

Covers work great.
Cover work great. Good quality. Use stainless self tapping screws and black RTV to install. The bad reviews are from people that do not know what THEY are doing. Not the covers fault.

Nice peice
Used this to make an access hole on truck ac box. Now I can simply unscrew the lid and clean out the ac evaporator box.

Needed Work
Nicely molded parts except the thin ring that makes the watertight seal against the rubber ring was very rough. A white hatch from a different company was the same, made from the same mold. I attached some fine sandpaper to the top of the center part and used that as a tool to sand the thin ring smooth.

Saved my husband's sanity ;)
Our RV had a smaller hatch that required disassembling the sewer hose ends to pass thru and then put it back on. This allows the hose and the end to pass through to connect to the black/gray tanks. It is a time saver and keeps my husband from cussing every time he empties the tanks. :)

Well made, good value
Hatch made well and has what seems to be a Teflon seal. Makes a good access hole in my kayak for wiring navigation and convenience lighting.Will purchase again if I needd another.

Picked up for RV
Need a 4" cover for air conditioner duct in my travel trailer. The duct is in the inside roof above my kids bunk bed and blows down on him and makes him to cold, as he is only a foot away. I went to local hardware store and they were no help. Then I searched amazon and did not find anything for RV's besides open vents. But saw this hatch and thought it might work. Installation was easy, but note there is no hardware included. I put in the ceiling and turned AC on and it worked, no air coming out of this duct.
