Andalou NaturalsBody Btr, 1000 Roses, Velvet Soft, 8 Fl Oz

Love this so so much! It's definitely thick and rich and actually sinks in your skin. I do not have dry skin normally but I can get oily on my body. I mainly use this on my feet and elbows, but it's not too rich to use in the summer all over. I just use a thin layer if I'm applying it over legs and arms, etc. In winter, I may be able to use a heavier layer. I abhor the feeling of sticky or clammy skin from the use of a product that doesn't absorb.I've tried so many body creams, and it seems they usually just sit on the skin and don't really moisturize. This one does not sit on the skin and truly moisturizes and lasts well throughout the day. My test for this is the heel test. Heels are notorious for being dry (and ugh, I can't stand dry heels on myself or looking at them on other people - anyone else out there with me?! haha). If my body lotion can make my heels moisturized throughout the day, then I know it's good (especially when wearing sandals all day). The only other lotion I've tried that did the same thing was Lubriderm for Dry/Extremely Dry Skin (it's the one in the reddish/burgundy bottle). This Andalou one is much preferable due to the less toxic ingredients.And the SMELL. Oh my this has the best rose scent ever. If you like a rose scent, I would bet you like this one. You know how some rose scents remind you of childhood dolls/toys that were scented with rose? And it's like a childish/cheap rose scent? This one is not like that at all. It's distinctly rose-scented, but still fresh and bright with just the right depth and strength to make it very feminine and adult. For me personally, I'm very picky about perfumes and lotion scents. I gravitate towards fresh, clean, bright, citrusy scents typically. Please keep any form of vanilla scent or musky scent far away from me. I do not however tend to get headaches or anything like that from scents, so I cannot vouch for if the scent is too strong for you. I don't smell this beyond application though, but like I said I'm usually applying to elbows and feet.Overall, I will repurchase this in a heartbeat and it's my favorite body cream by far. For a regular lotion, me, my mom and sister absolutely love the Andalou Naturals Citrus Verbena Body Lotion. It's the best I've found. Hope this helps someone looking to make a decision on purchasing.

I have the Rose and the Kukui Cocoa scented and let me tell you, they smell so nice! I am very picky about what products I use and these are rated very well on Yuka for low toxicity while still having the beautiful scents to feel like you're treating yourself. I like the Kukui Cocoa scented the best because it smells like almond oil and a warm cookie somehow. It has notes of vanilla and coziness that is perfect for fall and winter. It mixes well with my musky vanilla perfumes.

This body butter is great! Thick, rich and hydrating. It absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave a greasy feeling. I love that it’s not full of harmful chemicals. Plus the scent is light and fresh, not the gross fake fragrances most lotions are flooded with.

I’m in love with this body butter! It’s super moisturizing in the winter without being greasy at all! It keeps my skin so soft and best of all is the smell. It smells AMAZING. Like true fresh cut roses with a hint of orange, white tea and maybe a touch of pomegranate. I love it. Even my kids loved it (on me that is) and kept coming over to cuddle. Lovely! Totally worth the money!

I'm very cautious of floral scents because I've come across way too many that have a funky, dried powder scent. This one is far from that. It has an amazingly beautiful scent of freshly cut roses! It's also good for moisturizing the skin. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I couldn't get the rosy scent to last. And that was my sole purpose for buying it. I wanted to smell like fresh roses all summer. It does absorb immediately into the skin, so maybe this is the reason the scent doesn't last too long. Literally the moment you rub it in, the rose scent disappears. Maybe in the future the company can add some sort of rose perfume oil to make the scent last longer. This is a tip that may help. I probably won't purchase this again, only because the scent immediately dissipates. Otherwise, it's good for making the skin soft.

I’ve been using Andalou 1000 roses body products for over 6 years now. Hands down my favorite lotions and deodorant, and it smells wonderful. I’m always getting complements on how good it smells. High quality, makes my skin soft, moisturizes as it should. I’ll keep buying it!

The scent is nothing like Bum Bum Cream but the benefits for the price are better than Bum Bum! I used Bum Bum for a while and realized it did NOTHING for my skin. I didn't want to burn another hole in my wallet (rather my husband's lol) so I searched high and low for something better. As soon as I put this on my skin I knew it was the perfect choice! It does leave a white residue if you don't rub it in, but that's because of all the natural ingredients. Once it's absorbed into your skin, it leaves you smooth and velvety just like it says! It has a very light and pleasant scent, which made me realize Bum Bum was an overpowering and unnatural scent. I'm glad I switched over to this and look forward to the benefits it will give my skin :)
