This is a good curling iron. This curling iron is coated with ceramic. So, it does not seem to damage your hair. I have thick hair. The clip on the barrel is strong enough for my thick hair. The quick heat up and automatic shut off are two of the best qualities for this product. It is easy to use and is lightweight. This brand makes good hair styling products.

I purchased this curling iron (did not receive it free for review) after my last Revlon curling iron died recently after like 12 years! This one does not disappoint either, it is super easy to use, heats quickly and curls my hair perfectly. I love the way the tip is shaped which makes it easy to grip and the clamp has just the right amount of pressure to hold my fine hair. I do find the curling iron to be a top heavy when set down so it tilts forward but I just rest it on my sink lip to keep the heat away from my Formica bathroom counter. I haven’t had any trouble with turning it off accidentally due to the on off button location like some other reviewers have mentioned, I don’t find it to be a problem. I see many years ahead of reliable use if my last was any indication. Great product for a great price.

Love the size curls/waves with this curling iron. However, the on/off button has been turned off accidentally multiple times every single time I have used it. Very frustrating for the iron to be turned off because button placement makes touching it inadvertently so very easy. Since it was reasonably priced and the size of curls are so nice I put up with the frustration of button turning it off so frequently.

The best replacement curling rod. My old revlon curling rod barrel was starting to stick so I replaced it with this one and I’m very happy I did! Heats up quickly, great stand and curls beautifully.

I received this item for a Christmas gift . I opened the package it was in an put it away with my other rods, supplies. Threw away the box it was in naturally, I never save this stuff. I took it out yesterday to use, this is the larger rod I don’t use this one very often. Plugged it in, the light went on, but did not heat up at all . I even tried other plugs for the heck of it even though the light went on. Nothing. Very disappointed. And I’m past the point of returning it w/ Amazon. Would rather Not give any stars here. Waste of money. I guess you have to start checking out everything nowadays before throwing away packages. Disappointed!

I've used this curling iron for years. Like its size and ease of use but was hoping the on/off button location would be corrected. But no, it's in the same place. It's so easy to hit the button by accident and is constantly turning off when using. This isn't realized until the iron cools down and does not work on your hair. This is being returned once I'm able to find a suitable new curling iron!
