This book is essential for any nurse entering or in the field who cares about their practice and how to treat their patients. Why? Because anyone can walk up to you and say things should be done this way. But if they can’t back it up with proof their words are empty. This book shows you and teaches you how to research and how to intelligently find Evidenced-based practice which means researched to the upmost practice on the best way to do a treatment to prevent a bad outcome. Get the book and Don’t let someone with a big mouth and no brains tell you how to do your job, you doubt and double check everything and make damn sure you are doing it right on your end bc it’s YOUR license, NOT theirs. Stepping off of soapbox now.

Arrived quickly but too much highliting

I bought this book that was listed as like new. This book arrived and was still in shrink wrap! It was a brand new book! Very happy with my purchase. Thank you very much.

The book did arrive one day late, but understandable with the way the world is right now. Book was listed as a “used-like new” condition, but it looks brand new! The book was packaged so nicely to withstand the travel! I will definitely be ordering from here in future semesters! Everything was/is GREAT!!!

The book came still wrapped in plastic with the user code intact. Better than expected

There are pages half ripped out from the book. My semester has started. I do not have the money or time to return and get a new one. Luckily the number pages like this are few so I should be able to manage without the information. Otherwise delivery was timely. And have had otherwise positive experiences getting scholastic books from Amazon.

Doing the job

While I bought this book on sale, I was expecting it to be from the book publisher. In fact, I’m questioning the authenticity of it as I did not receive the starch off code to access the only resources, which is the main reason I bought this book new and not used. Disappointed because of this. Not sure of the quality of the rest of the book as I have yet to read it but right off the glass I can see some difference in writing style in some pages.
