Perfect Basic Hiking Pants for Excursions
These Singbring pants are definitely not your expensive Prana pants, but I'm quite surprised by how well they're made. At first, I was unsure of whether or not I should purchase these because I'm unfamiliar with the Singbring brand. But upon arrival, I was happy to find that they weren't sloppily sewn together, so a disastrous purchase was avoided here.About the pants...these are basic hiking pants. The material is water-repellant (waterproof is always a stretch for these pants or many other products)...I'm pretty sure if there were a torrential downpour in the jungle or at sea...you'd get soaked, so don't go on any insane excursions, eh?). The stitching is strong, similar to how EMS' hiking pants are put together. I feel confident--after many-a-squat tests--that these will serve me well on my trip abroad and will not tear at the behind or sides. The pockets are deep: getting a large phone, even a phablet, in is totally possible. The zippers have a metal tassel, nice touch. As the pants taper down, so does the opening of the shaft and opening at the ankles. These pants will not likely go over a high hiking boot (you could of course tuck the fabric in without a problem) but certainly, a mid-hiking boot can be covered. If you have wide calfs, they may feel a bit snug, but even then, the fabric should offer enough give so you're comfortable.Maybe it's just me, but I prefer hiking pants that have an elastic band in addition to belt straps. The elastic band has the perfect give--it's comfortable, isn't at all itchy or too tight if you opt to wear a base layer like waffle-knit leggings or any other type of leggings, and the belt straps provide that extra security if you feel you might accidentally moon someone on the trail or have a plumber's crack kind of moment. Do note these pants sit high and do not hug the hip bones. Perhaps that may seem unappealing...the mom jeans of the hiking domain, but seriously, they're very comfortable even though they come up a few centimeters (literally a few) above the belly button. The crotch area doesn't appear long because they sit high, so you need not worry about sporting the drop-crotch look.I'm happy with this purchase and will be sure to update my review if I safely return from my hiking excursion to the Lofoten Islands and elswhere in the Norway region. A little bit about me to help answer your sizing queries: my weight fluctuates often and on a bloated day, unfortunately, I definitely average about 130lbs, but normally I'd weigh in at 127lbs. I have an athletic build, almost straight throughout the torso, and somewhat thick calves for a lady at 5'3. I initially ordered the medium (8-10) after reading previous reviews about the fit being snug and not true to size, but they were just too large and would accommodate an extra 5lbs if I had any. So, I exchanged these for the small (4-6), and they fit just right: perfectly snug above the belly button, don't run up awkwardly at the crotch, enough fabric in the behind and legs to crouch comfortably, and overall better fitting with room to wear a base layer.Well, hope this review helps others!

Awesome pants!!!
Great Fit!!! I usually where a small & ordered a small!!! Have wore them hiking many times, washed them many times (I hang to dry) & they look as good as the day I bought them 9 months ago. Love the zippers to put my iPhone in to easily access to take pics!!! Wish they made them in shorts!!!

Easy to clean (in terms of getting the mud off)
I'm 5"9 130 lbs. I used it for a 23 mile hike in the Caribbean.Cons: It needed a little breaking in (the thigh area was a little snug) but after about 20 minutes it felt ok. Slid down a little when climbing uphill but using the belt helped with that. Slight irritation in the knee area where the mesh is.Pros:Deep pockets I didn't get soaked through when the rain fell. Dried quickly after crossing rivers. Easy to clean (in terms of getting the mud off). Breathable fabric (thank goodness!)

I normally wear a 4 to 6 women's and the small was too small I would recommend a medium
These are lightweight and high-quality pants. I normally wear a 4 to 6 women's and the small was too small I would recommend a medium. The company was extremely helpful when I had the wrong size. These are great waterproof pant.

Better than expected, abraision resistent and comfy
Wore these through a few different camping trips, hiking, climbing, and 2 caving trips. Theyve held up very well. I get lots of compliments on them. Theyre sort of like a soft shell pant or snow pants without any insulation, and pretty abrasion resistant (they got scraped a good bit caving both times) i was skeptical of them when i bought them, and the material in the pockets feels a tad cheap, but theyve worked great for me. They were pretty water resistent out of the package but lost most of it, but thats to be expected. I bought some tech wash so maybe it will give it back a little. The pants were a little tight on me, they do stretch though, and the botton rubbed a bit because they were a little tight. The zippers on all the pocksets are pretty nice as well. although they did take a long time to get here, but thats what happens when you order things half way around the world. I recommend them!

Exceeded all expectations
These pants exceeded all expectations. I thought I would give them a try because they were inexpensive. I wore them canyoneering which is a trial for any kind of trail plant. I went through very rough prickely brush. Slid down rough rock faces walked in a wet and dry harness completed several rappells and waded through chest deep water. These pants still look brand new. They were exceedingly comfortable. Light weight and breathable but warm even when soaking wet. They dried very quickly in about 63 degree fair weather. The zip pockets are perfect for my phone. Knee wear patches provide extra durability. They do fit high on the waist but this is a good thing for hiking. Fitted well buti still had perfect freedom of movement. I am 5'4 120lb and the small were perfect for me. Allowing movement but still a good fit. Overall I'm thrilled. I will be buying more. I know not the best picture but these pants still looked amazing on a 200 foot rappel after a days beating

Size Extra Small fit perfectly
I ordered a size XS and it fit perfectly! For reference I'm usually a size 0 in jeans with a 24 inch waist. It's very comfortable and doesn't make that "wishhh" sound too much when you walk. Overall very happy with my purchase.

Perfect outdoor pants
I was a little skeptical about getting these pants, but they were the best purchase I made. They kept me warm even though I used underarmours underneath for my trip to Iceland. The length people say is a little long, but it sat on my boots nicely and anytime I squatted they never rise up, which I liked a lot. I would definitely recommend these outdoor pants. Btw I’m 5’5, 110 pounds.
