Quick delivery. Same, awesome book that I purchased on Martha's Vineyard almost 40 years ago! Over the years, my family has enjoyed many recipes from this cute book. Last time my daughter asked me to send her one of our favorites, the zucchini and rice casserole, I decided to look for the book online. I was thrilled to find it with this seller and my daughter received it in good condition and loves it!

Susan Branch has a devoted following. Recipes in her books are delicious! The art, handwritten text and use of quotes in all of her publications are her charming signature style. If you love to cook, add this to your kitchen library.She recently published three memoir books that are equally charming with handwritten text, photos and a way to get to know Susan Branch as a person and her journey towards becoming the loved author that she has become. I highly recommend "The Fairy Tale Girl" "Martha's Vineyard - Isle of Dreams" and "A Fine Romance - Falling in Love With the English Countryside." I recommend reading them in the above order. ENJOY!

I have purchased more than one copy of this book for myself and others 9GIFTS) and now I own several other Susan Branch books - cookbooks and otherwise. Besides beautiful illustrations and lettering, Susan includes delicious recipes that, once read, always make me want to cook. After leafing through any one of her cookbooks, I am bound to create something great. Her descriptions and drawings are so inspiring. And the recipes work. HEART OF THE HOME is by far my favorite Susan Branch book. Maybe because I've owned it for 23 years and have made so much of the food for so many loved ones.

I must say first that I am a complete fan of all of Susan Branch's books - they have brought me so much quiet comfort and joy and peace. I love her uplifting stories and charming artwork, as well as the amazing recipes she includes. Her books are always so personal and feel as if they were created just for you by a dear friend :-) I just love her style.

I love anything by Susan Branch and I was so happy to buy her first cookbook she ever wrote. Enjoyed her recipes and paintings she did, they were delightful!

One of my favorite artists and a must have for my kitchen. Each page is beautifully illustrated and gives you the feeling you are sitting in a cozy kitchen just waiting for the cookies to come out of the oven. Beautiful.

Read her autobiography and just HAD to have this cookbook. It's as interesting to look at as the recipes are. I think it helped to know how she came about creating this cookbook to appreciate everything that went into it. What a lovely, talented woman!

I am a big fan of Susan Branch. Her books are hand written & beautifully illustrated. This is her first book a cookbook . I chose to buy second hand. Book is in excellent condition considering it’s from the 1980s. Recipes don’t seem dated. Sent very quickly . 💯 % recommended.
