Almost perfect!!
I am a semi professional artist and I used to work in pen and ink frequently. When I was in trade school, we talked a bout a pen holder that would accommodate both the crow quill style and the broader leaf style nibs. Of course 20 years ago, there was no such thing, that any of us knew of. So, when I saw these I had to get some.I ordered the reddish-orange set and they feel great. Slightly rubberized grip, lightweight. Super stylish color. I do really like using them. The only pitfall is that I have some Zebra Comic Pen Nibs - G Model that do not fit snuggly into the holder, they in fact, almost fall out. Which is disappointing. That said, it's the only nib that I have that does not fit as it should into these pen holders and those nibs fit fine into other holders I have. So, it is far from any sort of deal breaker.Overall, these are great.

Superior to competitors but at budget price
I've been buying the pens sold at the craft store including speedball. I'm so surprised how quickly the standard pens break down. I've had the handle of one shatter and the brads that hold the tips bend or break. These pens are awesome! For the same cost as one of the craft store pens, I got this whole set. I don't need to change tips and the handles are not degrading. I love the way they hold ink as we. They are superior but at a budget price.

A good set of holders
I like the set, the holders are able to take almost any kind of nib. The included nibs don't have a lot of functionality for me. They do not seem to be properly polished and like to dig into the paper as well as skip. My preferred use is for art and, except for the inconsistent flow I got better although not perfect function by using them upside down. For my use only the #5 nib is useful at all.If you're just looking for a set of holders to hold either regular comic nibs and "mapping" nibs the holders look good in spite of being simple plastic. They are the short holders but that's not a problem for me. The only problem I had was one of the inserts easily came out with the nib but it was only an issue during cleaning. Lastly.

These Are Bada$$
I'm pretty new to pen and ink (dip-style) so maybe take that as a caveat for everything I say beyond this point, but imho, these are awesome pens. They won't tell you upfront, but the five-pack gives you the basic nibs--G, spoon, school, Japanese, & map--which offers a great baseline to do a lot of techniques. I'm using them with a classic india ink and cleaning with a soft toothbrush and water to prevent clumping every half hour or so. Honestly, they're even better than I expected for the price. Good stuff, for realz.

Meh
These pens feels cheap and the metal bit is wobbly in the base. I was disappointed.

Two of the nibs are bent
I wish I could’ve gotten new ones but two of the nibs were bent and were unusable therefore j cannot use this set to its capacity 😞

Large nibs just dont work well
The larger nibs don't seem to have been ground properly flat - so you end up with two lines on the paper from the edges of the nib touching the paper.Wouldn't buy again - even at this cheap price.

Excellent product
This is my first set of comic dip pens. I plan to use them to ink my drawings. I have tested all of the pens in this set, and I am quite happy with them. The ink flows very nicely. No issues getting them started. I have a cheap set of calligraphy dip pens and I have to scratch them back and forth on the paper to get them started writing. Not these. They mark from the very first contact with the paper. They hold a fair amount of ink in the reservoir. I was surprised at how much I can do with 1 dip. They do not blob up like my other cheap set. No messy ink blotches and drips. I highly recommend these pens for anyone who wants to get into dip pens, for drawing or calligraphy. The holders are nice as well. They are light weight, and feel great in my hand. The wood is much nicer than the plastic holder I had. Only 1 thing I'm not sure about. I'm not sure if the D nib is supposed to be bent at the tip like in the pic. Both D nibs are bent like that, and they still seem to work, though the line is quite bold. That may be normal, this is my first experience with a D pen, so I'm not sure. But regardless, even if those nibs are defective, the other nibs are not, and they are a lot of fun to draw and ink with. Would buy again without a doubt.

Nibs poor at dispensing the ink
The 3 largest size nibs will not work. I’ve tried 2 different ink types and they will not write. The other nibs seem to be fine and function, although they need to be dipped more frequently than my other pens nibs.
