Poor quality
Accusize tools top quality this is a POS. Lock inoperative, ratchet too heavy and battery socket junk. From the operation sheet;" no display----keep good contact for battery".

Slight Issue
Overall as a lower priced digital O.D. Micrometer.I would say it is a decent purchase.Only Issue I have had from the time I purchased it. The Battery seems to loose connection and I have to remove the battery and reinstall it, That is a bit of a pain mainly because it is so dang tight that I have to use something really small to catch the edge of the battery to pry it out. Once removed and reinstalled I can get the entire day or sometimes two days before I have to rinse and repeat.

Eats batteries
No on/off button and automatic switch-off doesn’t work. Had 2 of these both wit the same issue. Accuracy wasn’t too bad but I had expected better.

Defaults to being a 0-1" mic, slow to adjust after battery changes
When setting with the provided standard, a digital 1-2" micrometer should display 1" when resetting the origin to the standard. This one acts as if it were a 0-1" micrometer, because it displays all zeros when calibrating to the standard. It turns out that if you hold "RESET" and "-" together for something like ten seconds, then you can start adjusting the reference. By 0.0001" at a time. If you hold it down, after it counts through ten digits, it increases an order of magnitude. So by holding it down continuously for about 40 seconds, you finally get close to right for a 1-2" micrometer.Of course, if you overshoot, it is now counting up an inch at a time, so any overshoot at all puts you past 2" and having to hold it about 40 seconds to get close again.Update: Accusize tell me that they do use this, are just used to this experience, and don't use competitor's products much to know how the interface could be different.I spent some time looking, and as far as I have found, without paying for something at least labeled as mitutoyo, I can't find any other micrometer that combines these features:* Digital* Vernier* Absolute and Relative modes, with the ability to revert to the absolute setting not just reset to the standard* Quick switch between imperial and metric modesI'm still dreading every battery change, but this combination of features that is hard to come by. And I appreciate digital hold; it may sometimes be easier than setting the cam.

Great
Does what it’s intended to do and very easy to use. Great to have in handy.

Came dead
Batteries came dead will test it out when I find batteries and update the review

Very accurate
This micrometer is very accurate and repeatable. I’m not a machinist and do not make money with this tool so a high end expensive mic wouldn’t be worth it for me. I do use it to measure very critical dimensions (rod and main journals on a race bike) so accuracy and precision are both important. The only complaint I have is that the buttons are both tiny and easy to accidentally press when using. For occasional use where precision and accuracy are required it is great.

Well made
They seem to be quality mics

Horrible quality control, notchy Spindle
Trying to figure out why it's Notchy. Moved the Spindle as far open as it goes. Bunch of metal shavings inside it. Disappointing, have bought a few Accusize micrometers in the past without issues. Quality seems to have dropped massively. Also the Spindle lock sticks/notchy
