Lock 'N Load (BK101 Black Narrow Tire Adapter for Wheel Chock

With a lock n load wheel chock these adapters are great for narrow tire bikes. These don’t work well with the Bike Pro wheel chock, the difference between the chocks is minor and it shows with these adapters.

These really help for narrow tire bikes.

As advertised, now my skinny tire 2004 Wideglide stands straight up like it should

I needed these so that our old Honda 185s with a thin front tire would fit better in the chock. In that regard they do work. However I was less then impressed with the fit of these especially considering the cost. These have a rib on either side where they attach to the chock that is designed to cradle the strap that the chock is made out of. I believe that this was done to prevent the adapter block from rotating. However the width of the strap is wider than than what will fit between these two ribs. The result is that the adapter does not lay flat onto the chock and does not bolt down like it should. The fix is to remove one rib or grind down the strap so that it is a little narrower I chose to do the former and this worked out OK. I was also not impressed with the hardware used. A cheap regular 7/16 bolts are supplied. I would have used a flange head bolt with serrations to prevent loosening. I did not have any on hand so I used medium strength thread locker.

These will bolt into a standard sized wheel chock (eg Harbor Freight) to hold a dirt bike tire, 80/100-21 (DRZ400S Front wheel).

The bike tire wouldn't fit in with them on both sides which left the bike in a front wheel high position. Removed one from each side and it fit, but still had plenty of side to side motion. Bike is about the same without. Save your money.

Wheel chock too wide for Yamaha XT 250. These fixed it right up. Easy to install.

I bought these to retrofit onto my MaxxHaul 70075 Motorcycle Wheel Chock.These are not intended for the Maxhaul, so they required some minor modification to get them to fit perfectly.I can now load my Yamaha Virago and the wheel chock will hold the bike upright while I strap it down.Before I installed these the bike would lean over as there was too much clearance in the pivot bracket.It was very difficult to load the bike without an assistant to hold it upright.Now I can load it without assistance.
