NT Cutter Circle Cutter, Leaves no pin trace, 3/4" to 6-3/4" Diameter (iC-1500P)

As an art teacher, I had bought several sizes in the giant hole punch mechanism before I found this. They were hard to use and you had to buy one for each size change. This thing is awesome and I wish I had found it sooner!! It will do all of my different sizes easily and quickly. Definitely a great purchase!

I own the Fiskars & Olfa circle cutters. I cut a lot of circles. Both are the same price roughly as the NT c-1500, ($15) but the NT is a Mercedes to those poorly made and badly designed cutters.This tool is stainless steel & industrial plastic. You can adjust blade depth for your material!The center pivot pad is steel, and threads on. So the pin point is not even in contact with it. On fiskars this is just a tiny plastic foot with no grip, and on olfa the pin will go right through the plastic pad. (Plus the olfa pad and cutter are not on the same plane)Even if you don’t need circles with no holes, this cutter is superior in ever other way. Awesome made in Japan tool.

A little bit of a learning curve but with trial and error is easier to use. Be sure to use the beveled end of the blade. I'm a bit of an idiot and didn't notice that each side of the blade is not the same. I wish the blades were sharper, but it may have been the thickness of the sticker paper that made it not so easy to slice. I used some Cricut sticker paper which is kind of awful and had to use it for something. Though, in the end, the cuts are pretty clean. I ended up drawing a mark on the crosswise adjustment bar, so that if I had to change the blade, it would be easier to get to the right size without it being fiddly. I am using it as an alternative to my Cricut to cut out round stickers from a full sheet. Cricut only prints and cuts up to about 6"x9" thus wasting a bit of the paper. I am making labels for home use of only one size, so not making a hundred. This does the job for small batches of cutting out printed circles.

This circle cutter works very well for card stock and watercolor paper; it's just what I wanted. It doesn't leave an annoying pin hole in the center of the paper, which is why I chose this model, but still securely holds the paper while cutting. There was a bit of a learning curve since the instructions were very abridged but after viewing a YouTube video on usage and a bit of practice, I'm now cutting circles like a pro.

Not sure if I'm doing something wrong but the page keeps tearing halfway through the circle and blade tips break so easily. I was cutting button circles for controller art and it's not working. I ended up taking an exacto knife and using it instead of the built in blades for slightly better blades

Very difficult to use. Slips while turning it. Makes nice circles if you only do one page at a time. Not worth the price our time to use it. I wish I bought the competitor’s product.
