American Flag License Plate Frame Matte Black on Brushed Aluminum Composite

Solid build, good frame but it does not fit California plates. Top portion of the plate gets cutoff.

The frame is okay, I was under the impression that the American flag was engraved into the frame. Once I received it, I looked at it and of course to good to be true.... The Flag is a decal, which wrinkled up when screwed onto the vehicle plate holder. Also yes the frame is thick but the middle portion of the frame is a clear plastic, its not a solid piece of aluminum.

The frame looks great except that it cuts off (covers) the top half of the State (along the top of the plate), which is illegal - at least in Texas. What a VERY POOR DESIGN! Especially when all plates are designed almost exactly the same and they could have easily considers this. How careless and irresponsible! If I ever get stopped and given a ticket for it, should it be this companies responsibility to pay for it? Or is selling a product that is illegal to use considered misrepresentation or false advertising?

I really wanted to like this product. It was well packaged and seems of decent construction. However, on my Toyota Tundra, the presence of the bumper just below the plate means that because this is 6 1/2 inches tall instead of the standard 6 3/8 inches, the holes won't line up. I might be able to use it on the front plate, but this is a real disappointment and entirely avoidable. If you have anything at the bottom of your license plate think twice about purchasing this product.

Frame is very study and thick and the graphics seem a durable vinyl. It does cover a bit more of the license plate than expected but the registration decal is still visible so it isn't a problem. I ordered the Black on Black frame. Be Aware! The frame is a gloss finish and the graphics are a matte/satin finish and you cannot see the flag graphics unless viewed at just the right angle where you get reflected light on the gloss frame. Installed on our car it looks nice but you cannot see the graphics at all; looks like a plain black frame. I would exchange it but it is already installed. Overall, it's a great, well-made frame with quality materials. If I ordered another frame it would choose a more contrasting decal from the frame color.

I put this American flag license plate on my American made Chevy Silveraydo. A flock of bald eagles flew over head, dropped me a Budweiser from the sky and Toby Keith’s “Courtesy of the Red White and Blue” filled the air. I shotgunned the cold brewski and told my neighbor “if you don’t like America, you can GET OUT”

Really like this license plate cover and it looks great on our camper. The only thing is when I was screwing the plate on the camper I touched the blue striping on the frame with the screwdriver and it is a sticker instead of paint and it came off where I touched it. Otherwise, I am happy with my purchase and I did not send it back.
