Love this rug!!
This jute rug looks amazing on my front porch! It’s thick, well-made, and I love that it’s reversible—perfect for switching it up or hiding wear. It adds a cozy, natural touch and holds up well outdoors (under a small awning). I layered a smaller mat on top and it looks great. Super happy with the quality and style!

Natural. Sturdy. Elegant.
#1 When looking for a jute area rug to place under my dining nook table, I was determined to find the right price. I looked on Wayfair, Overstock, Joss & Main, and of course Amazon. #2 I wanted the quality of the rug to be excellent! We have 2 Labrador Retrievers who sit under the table when we dine, so a rug must also be sturdy, yet comfortable. #3 Size was important for the awkward space in our dining nook. #4 Color needed to be both neutral & natural to compliment the room. Imagine my delight to find a 5 X 8 jute area rug that met ALL my expectations! Under $100, delivered on time (Thank you Amazon Prime). The quality exceeds what I anticipated. No loose, frayed looping or edges. It stays in place under the table & chairs (it sits directly on top of tile). Size is perfect. The multitude of completely natural colors are outstanding! Warms the furniture nicely. In my opinion, the jute adds a touch of elegance that the room didn't have with a basic carpet rug. I am VERY pleased with my purchase! One thing I did notice after having it down for 3 days...I lifted up the rug and it was certainly dirty underneath. But that is why some genius invented vacuums!

I got the 24x36" size
Got this to use as a doormat, since I seem to go through these kinda quickly. I waited a long time for this to be restocked since its ratings were better than the others. It seems like a well made doormat, and the only reason I docked a star is because they connected the wraparound, cardstock advertising piece to the doormat with those plastic little tie things ---and two are embedded to where I can't get them out unless I find my needle nosed pliers and have good luck with them. Luckily I have a smaller sisal doormat which I put on top of the still embedded plastic tie things until I can find my needle nosed pliers and try my luck. I know it's popular to use the buffalo plaid "under doormat" doormats, but I've been using the jute ones like this one for quite some time and I really like them. They're neutral to go with every color, and for what it's worth, they're soft, and as needed, a smaller doormat easily fits on top as a decorative or functional piece. The "braided" smaller sisal mat I have on top of this one perfectly matches, as if the sisal and jute were meant to go together. At my front door I do have a problem with squirrels who steal tufts of the jute for their nests, but I just sprinkle hot sauce at the edges of the jute and that keeps them away. I really recommend this doormat, it looks very nice and is very functional!!!

Great rug for an amazing price!
I've had this rug in the 4x6 size in my foyer for 3 years now. I'm only coming to this page to see about buying a new one because I spilled a gallon of milk all over mine and thought it might be cheaper and less of a pain to buy a new one rather than try to clean it. I was reading some of the other reviews and I was kind of surprised at the negative ones. Clearly the ones that are unraveling are defective because I've had this rug since 2013 and it still looks pretty good considering the price. I'm attaching a few photos of what mine looks like after three years of high traffic use. And the people who are complaining about the silt under the rug, I'm pretty sure that's just dirt that has fallen through the holes in the weave of the rug. It's just like the dirt you pick up when you vacuum carpet. Where do they think the dirt is supposed to go? When you vacuum the rug, it picks up the silt. I'm not sure what the problem is. And for the ones were worried it will ruin their floor, all you have to do is put a rug pad underneath it, which you want to do anyway to keep it from sliding. The only concern I had before I received it was that it would be uncomfortable to walk on, but it's really not at all! I think it's a great rug and I have received many compliments on it and you can't beat the price.

Lovely, soft not smelly
Very stylish and much more affordable than those GH, BD and PB stores. Bought this to go in a convo area in the living room - love it. So much softer than expected - which was the main reason we hesitated in going to a natural fiber rug. It's summer - we are walking on it barefoot and it's not uncomfortable - only a little scratchy on the corners where the filament ends are. No musty smell, no (bad) shedding. Only had some dust/silt which I knew we would be the case. Opened it outside and flopped it on the ground a few times (too big to shake) then ran the vacuum over it (w/o beater bar) - done, inside it went. Using it with a 1/4 natural felt pad to catch any residual dust and add a little cushion - it is thick so didn't want to go any bigger than that. We have two kittens who don't pay too much attention to it as far as sharpening their claws, but they do walk across it with the toes all spread out and it's their favorite playground.
