Luzianne Unsweetened Iced Tea Bags, Gallon Size, 24ct Box (Pack of 1)

I started buying this brand after my store quit carrying the Lipton gallon size tea bags. I wound up liking this brand so much that it’s the only one I buy now. I use them in my ice tea maker and one bag easily makes a strong pitcher full. The flavor is bold and robust without being off putting. It makes other brands taste weak compared to it. I make a pitcher full every couple of days, yet the box lasts me a long time before I have to buy more. Definitely worth the price for the amount you get and the quality of black tea. I highly recommend!

UPDATE:Though I did enjoy the flavor when using a full gallon of water per bag, I've discovered that using just 3 quarts of water produces a much more robust and flavorful tea for my palate. Even when using just 3 quarts instead of 4, it's still a big savings compared to buying the bottled variety!--------------------------------------------------I've long been a fan of bottled, unsweetened iced tea. But with prices soaring due to high inflation, I decided to cut costs in any areas I could. It turns out that bottled iced tea was a great candidate to save quite a lot, actually.I boiled a gallon of water in a stainless steel pot. Then I dropped in one packet of the Luzianne tea. Making sure to get all the flavor I could out of the tea, I stirred the water occasionally to ensure it extracted ALL the tea had to offer. This only took about 5-10 minutes.Once it cooled down sufficiently, I poured the newly-brewed tea into a gallon jug and placed it in the frig. The tea wasn't perfectly clear. It was a bit cloudy. So, it was obvious that some unfiltered part of the finely-ground tea leaves was escaping through the packet material. I must admit that I squeezed all the liquid from the packet when I removed it from the gallon of brewed tea. That might have contributed to the cloudiness.The final result was a delicious, and quite flavorful, iced tea! In fact, it was darker and noticeably more flavorful than the bottled iced teas I've been buying. Those have always seemed a bit weak to my palate. Maybe it wasn't quite as dark and strong as I'd hoped, but it was very good, nevertheless.I haven't calculated the exact savings I'll enjoy. But I can see from a quick comparison of prices that the savings should keep my wallet considerably fatter! Better, stronger flavor, and a gallon jugful of savings. That's exactly what I was hoping for.

I purchased Luzianne Tea as what I had always purchased in the past was not living up to its reputation. I had read the reviews for this tea and it is as expected. Wonderful taste and very satisfied with every sip. I boiled some water and also made sun tea. Both methods met my expectations for great tasting ice tea. As an aside, the tea bag did not disintegrate when placed in hot water that had been boiled. Also, I used 2 tea bags for a gallon as I like strong tasting tea and always use ice to keep tea cold.

Nice flavor and the big bag is perfect for a gallon batch of tea. It is not too strong and brews up easy in a small pot.

Each 3 ounce bag makes 2 quarts of strong iced tea that you can add an equal volume of ice to. Very good price. Good testing tea.

Luzianne Tea is one of my favorite teas because it always brews up nice and strong with a rich, smooth flavor. It tastes great whether you drink it hot or poured over ice, and it's just as good sweetened for classic Southern sweet tea as it is unsweetened. No matter how you make it, Luzianne always has a fresh, refreshing taste that's easy to enjoy any time of day.

I’ve been buying this brand for years. Well over 20. It’s perfect for ice tea. It’s specifically made for this purpose. It creates a well bodied and tasty picture. I’m always pleased with this product and have absolutely no problem recommending it.

Loved this product. Would let it soak in the water double want they suggest and add more water.
