This is definitely the "boy" answer to a doll house! The firehouse is well made, colorful, and includes all the furniture and extras to make this a perfect toy for imaginary play. It even includes the dog and the dog house. All of the "furniture" is made of wood and the house itself is very sturdy. It needs to be put together, but has wonderful directions and goes together easily. It did take a second person to hold the pieces straight while assembling. I see our 3 year old grandson enjoying this for many years. It was well worth the money.

This was bought for my 2 1/2 year old son for Christmas. It's been two months, & he has played with it everyday! Like a previous reviewer stated, you should get a different set of firemen as the ones that come with it do not bend & may be frustrating to little ones.Some reviwes stated that the furniture was flismy, however I found that the furniture is no different that any other doll house that I have seen, and if anything it was more durable.There is some scratches on the floors & things, but a little boy is bound to scratch it...we have broke the amublance, but was easily fixed with some glue.Those reviews that talk about the lack of quality, etc, remember it is less than $120.00 & given the size, amount of things that come with it, I say that it definately worth your money. Although there are some scratches, this toy will last for years, and hopefully will be passed down from generation to generation. Great product!

Very fast delivery (w/Prime) even during holiday rush. Papa Santa was able to put together within an hour with power drill. Has a great layout so multiple children (or parents/grandparents 😉) can play on different sides and/or levels at same time. Grandson (21 months old) absolutely loved it on Christmas morning! A few flexible Gumby-like firemen are included, but we ordered Playmobile Firefighters & Police Officers with it and they fit really well. The Playmobile figures are a bit smaller than the included figures, but they actually fit the chairs and trucks much better because their legs and arms bend. It is very heavy so you might want to assemble in the final resting place. I’m considering a rolling stand since we will be moving it quite a bit. I am very happy with the purchase and expect it to stand up to many years of play.

We really like the fire station and our son loves playing with it, but we were very disappointed when we put it together and realized the stairs they sent did not fit the fire station- must have been made for another product. We contacted them and they sent replacement stairs, however only one staircase fit, so we are out of luck on the second staircase. There is a design flaw somewhere with the stair cases and the pre-drilled holes for the staircases. More importantly, the figures are completely different than advertised. They are not very poseable and their clothing is painted on. They don't really fit down the space around firestation pole either, so that's a small point of frustration for our son when he can't make them slide down the pole. Also, there are other design changes, such as there is no dog house, the TV and a few other accessories are smaller and less nice than advertised, and the helicopter, fire truck and ambulance are different as well (though still nice, and we love the working siren on the fire truck). My guess is they changed a few things along the way and never updated their video/advertisements. The dog is better though.Otherwise, this product is sturdy, has a lot of nice features and I would recommend it. I think it is heirloom quality and it should last through our next kids as well as nieces/nephews and/or grandkids one day. It does make me a little wary to order something from kidkraft knowing that I could be getting something other than what I am seeing in their advertisements.

This was my son's "big" Christmas gift this year. We had seen one just like it at our local library and it was love at first sight for that three-year-old firetruck enthusiast. On Christmas Eve, after the kids were in bed, we invoked Santa's workshop and opened the box, only to realize we had at least an hour of intensive work ahead of us. He got his hand drill and I started to sort pieces, and after faithfully following the instructions (and only making a couple of mistakes), we managed to assemble what might be one of the best kids' toys I have ever seen.The attention to detail is my favorite thing about this imposing, three-story structure. There is furniture and space for the firefighters to have their meals, showers, and basketball games between their shifts. Best of all, it comes with everything a kid needs to immediately start playing, including a fire truck, an ambulance, and two little bendy firefighter figurines and their dog.I'll admit that the figurines are the weakest part of this structure. They're sloppily painted and seem a little goofy and simplistic, with gumby-like articulation. But there are so many figurines you can find on the market that would make a happy home in this station, from Paw Patrol to any number of superheroes.Our boy has been obsessed with this since he opened it on Christmas Day. His sisters often join him playing with it. It's massive and there's room for all in this feast for the imagination.

I bought this for my 3 year old grandson for Christmas. He loves it and plays with it every day. It's exactly as depicted, a perfect size (definitely not too small). There are several rooms, each complete with furniture, as well as a firehouse dog with a dog house, exercise equipment and basketball hoops. There's a vehicle for each of the 3 firemen...helicopter, fire truck and ambulance (door opens to put a patient in the back). It was easy to put together and is very sturdy. I couldn't be happier and neither could he. There's so much for a little one to do, imagination can run wild with this toy. If I was limited to one word to describe this, it would be AWESOME!
