It locks the king pin great for when I leave my trailer

You want protection Here it isThe kingpin is completely enclosed and that means less grease on your hands when you take it off and on They really should add this to the adds I love this lock

Great but wish it had a case
Works great. Just wish it had a case for when not in use. It gets a lot of grease from the trailer on it. So i wrap it in a plastic bag and store it in my truck but the plastic bag tears and sometimes get grease all over as it moves around or if i shift it around trying to get to my tools

Hmmm...Not Sure Yet
We bought this for our fifth wheel camper. Husband went watched the directions and put it on as directed. We question this lock because when he used the key to lock it, the key mechanism was forced out a bit. There was no other way to lock it. If we turned the key back, it unlocked. Something seems not quite right but we needed the lock immediately. For the money paid, it seems to be good quality otherwise except that the mechanism pops out just a bit. Not sure if that's normal or not. It wasn't mentioned in the directions. We'll see...I may need to update in the future.
