Revlon Matte Balm, Unapologetic

This is a lovely color for people who look good in "Winter" color tones (for skin that looks good with blue and pink undertones). It's a fabulous color for people with light skin, as it's not so dark as to be harsh. Also, it can work as a beautiful overtone lip or cheek color for people with darker skin, too! This is a versatile product - - the texture is like lip gloss, but it also can work for lip staining, plus it's easy to put on: it's also lightweight, but has buildable coverage. This is an amazing product, and that's why I am finally giving a review. I am a repeat customer, as long as it's available!

Love it! The color is beautiful. More so than the picture.

This review is for ‘elusive’ shade AND ‘enchanting’ I purchased ‘enchanting’ which was way too light for my medium tan skintone because it looked dusty white when I put it on. It looked beautiful on my daughter who is very fair and was the exact color as advertised. Now for ‘elusive’ it’s a basic pink , not burgundy and nowhere near the advertised color. I wanted to share that this is a true classic pink and not what the picture on Amazon shows. It’s not hot pink, it’s not pastel. I took a pic with a red crayon beside it so you can see if ‘true pink’ was a color ‘elusive’ is that. It goes on solid and rich color. It’s super* matte but feels great like a traditional lipstick. It has a slight peppermint scent that fades after a few seconds and is the most perfect matte lipstick all around that I’ve ever used. I need more colors of this stuff. Btw it’s Revlon matte balm.

This is one of my all time favorite colors and I love the Revlon colorstick. I was very glad they still made it. It's smooth and delivers a matte(ish) finish but I find it moisturizing and long wearing.

Amazon is combining my reviews into one so here's for the lighter pink: it's not the color's fault I guess, but it looked very waxy coral pink on me (I'm pretty pale and don't have a lot of color in my lips). other colors worked better. The darker color: love it although it's a little dark on me. Wish there was one slightly lighter but oh well. Photo is of this color. It's nice and minty, although I wouldn't say it's that moisturizing; I tend to use another balm underneath it. But it doesn't feel heavy and stays on forever.

This was more pink than I imagined and something I won't wear. My suggestion is to look at stuff in stores first and if you think you'll like it, order here. I have the worst time ordering makeup from pictures online, they hardly ever look the same. I love purple (pink too actually but this was too pow! for me) and never can get enough purple Lippies! Other colors in this line are very nice and I do like that it is longer lasting as long as you don't wear anything else with it. It is semi-moisturizing, and I prefer more of a lipgloss feel (more moist, not sticky!) So I like to wear these and put lipgloss on top. (Hard Candy has some good ones.) In doing that, I think it makes it disappear faster, especially while eating. They do feel nice on, they are silky smooth and smell good to me. My favorite color can no longer be found which is why I tried this color...not for me!

As described

It's alive red but not tacky. It's highly pigmented and very easy to apply. It stays on for a good bit and fades pretty --- leaves healthy red tint. On a casual day, i put a bit and use my fingers to spread it and it makes me look blooming. When i go out to socialize, i put more and it looks sexy. You can play with the level of red so it's like owning more than one red lipstick for different occasions. It's matte and very slightly drying BUT i put just a bit of any untinted balm and it's good. On some days, the dryness is unnoticeable unless i check it.

El color es muy bonito, en general es buen labial si lo quieres es humectar tus labios además de darles color. Cómo es un producto que humecta, no es de larga duración

I have been using these matte lipsticks since they have been available. I love the texture and the color. Though matte, they don’t dry the lips like other matte lipsticks from other brands and they give a perfect finish. A real pity Revlon has discontinued them.
