Strong at first but finishes nicely
I'm can be very picky with incense as someone who gets an instant headache from cheap smelling anything. I purchased this recently and upon first burning, I felt it was strong and overpowering. I wanted to gave it chance so I moved it to the office. Once it was out of my immediate space I could smell the sweet amber wafting through the air as it calmed my senses. After fully burned, it left my house smelling so lovely. I would be interested in trying more by this company.

Surprise
At first I didn’t automatically love this scent from this brand but I thought that ai could regift it. I put it inside a box thinking I would send the box to my mother. The forgot about it for a while. When Christmas came and I thought I would send it to my mother. When I pulled the box out there was the most pleasing warming aroma. That’s the best easy I could describe it. So I took one out to put in my dresser drawers and sent the rest to my mother thinking I would buy more. Well my mother opened the box which completely smelled like the incense after 2 days from Chicago to Miami and she loved it. Now I have to buy more for us both. Love the Amber and Sandalwood

Not for me
Everyone's sense of smell is different and personal tastes vary so much! I am adding my input because all of the other reviews are so positive. For me, this smells like baby powder mixed with old spice shave cream, cloying and not sophisticated. I don't get any scent of sandalwood at all. Return is very easy, and I appreciate being able to get a refund!

Best. Incense.
All the incense from this brand is incredible. I hate cheap incense (especially anything patchouli) and this stuff is just the best. The Yamuna is probably my favorite but the Hari is also a great clean, earthy scent. The scent lasts in the room I burn it in for days after and makes this well worth the extra couple bucks over cheaper incense.

Love it.
Love this scent, have purchased it from Amazon many times. Price a bit much for the amount, but totally enjoy this.

Stronger than non-Indian brands.
More sandlewood than amber, it is stronger than my other non-Indian brands, like the Japanese incense is very delicate that I use for meditation. For stronger incesne, like this one,I use it to clear and pacify the energy in a room, whether created by some negatiive guest or after a chaotic day! Expensive for what it is. Burns for over 35 minutes, need a window to be open.

Very sweet-smelling
This is a lovely incense, but not what I'd expect of sandalwood - it's a bit perfumey, a very sweet, heavy smell, almost like the smell of Opium perfume (if that means anything to anyone). It's a pleasant smell, but not 'earthy'.I'm still looking for a really fine sandalwood incense.
