Trish McEvoy High Volume Tubular Mascara in Shade Jet Black

I’ve been using this Trish McEvoy product for years. I only use it on my lower lashes since I have lash extensions on the uppers. Smudgy mascara is the worst!! This product is a marvel of mascara tech with these little tubes that form with application. They’re long-lasting but easy to remove even with the lash cleanser I use for my extensions! And it never smudges! The product does give nice volume to my lower lashes that are nearly blonde but if super volume is what you’re looking for, not sure this is the product for you. But for me, I always have a tube (and currently 2 unopened ones) for my makeup drawer and travel makeup kit. Did I mention it never smudges?!!

Wonderful beauty product, it is buildable mascara that is easy to wash off your eyelashes.

This is the only mascara on the market that says "tubing" and actually does not smear. This is the best mascara to wear to a pool because it has easy removal and it does not smear. BUY THIS!!!

I bought this because I was looking for a small/travel size tubing mascara. I currently use blinc, and it only comes in full size. I figured I would try this one since I barely go through a full tube every six months. Anyway, it’s a bit more expensive than blinc but I figured it would be worth it for a luxury brand item. Wow I am in complete shock at how terrible this mascara is. It’s thick and sorta dry. It doesn’t separate the lashes individually so you end up with the spidery-goopy eyelash clumps. You have to use a separate mascara brush afterward to fix the way it looks. It’s truly awful and I cannot understand how it’s highly rated at all. I missed my return window on this unfortunately, because I used it twice and went back to blinc. I wish I could get my money back because it’s truly garbage but it’s my fault for forgetting. Please try this in a store before purchasing because it’s really that bad. A part of me wonders if I got a bad tube but a few of the reviews complain about the exact same issues I’m experiencing. Blinc tubing mascara is so much better it’s not even close. Please don’t buy this …

Why this mascara?1. It brushes on nicely. It creates tubes so your lashes get longer…just layer it on, you will see.2. It does not smudge. I had a work colleague who always had smudges under her eyes. I finally told her, try Trish McEvoy’s mascara. I thought she might get offended, but it turns out she had been looking for a better mascara. She switched and was never smudgy afterwards.3. My favorite reason to buy it is that it comes off with water! In tubes…so again, you don’t end up with shadows under your eyes.

I bought this mascara after reading all the positive reviews. It's certainly an improvement from the Loreal Voluminous mascara I was using but it's no holy grail.Here's what I like about this mascara: It absolutely will never smudge. This is a big issue with most mascaras because by the afternoon I'll have ugly dark smudges under my eyes. Then I'll rub off what I can of the melted mascara taking my under eye makeup with it leaving my purple under eye circles visible creating a dark mess. This mascara stays put. I've slept in it, swam in it, in hot and cold water, and it never smudges. When I swim in it, it doesn't smudge but it does flake off which is fine with me. If I don't go swimming, this mascara stays looking freshly applied all day, even after a nap.The cons: 1. You must apply it very carefully and ideally comb your lashes with an eyelash comb after application, otherwise it will glue your lashes together and it won't be pretty. 2. It doesn't particularly add to the volume of my lashes as the name would suggest. My old Loreal Voluminous was great for adding thickness and volume, so I miss that. 3. It doesn't hold a curl very well. I always curl my lashes before applying mascara and when I put this mascara on it immediately weighs down my lashes and I lose half the curl. The other half stays though, so my lashes are half-way curled all day.So, all in all I feel like there must be a better mascara out there that would not smudge, not glue my lashes together, add volume and thickness and hold a curl. But for now I'm just happy to find a mascara that doesn't smudge. If non-smudging is your #1 mascara requirement - this is a good option.

I already struggle with dark circles under my eyes. I finally found a makeup routine that conceals them well, but then I started noticing my mascara, over the course of the day, was smudging some of its pigment under my eyes, which obviously exacerbated the issue of dark under-eyes. I tried a handful of traditional mascaras and had no luck. Finally, at the age of 40, i hear about tubular mascara for the first time, so I thought i'd give it a try... and I LOVE this stuff!! No smudging. No flaking. No lashes sticking to other lashes. None of the issues I historically have dealt with when using traditional mascara. It actually feels like I'm not wearing anything at all!
