Core Skills Science Grade 4

I was using another Science book in the fall and my son just kept getting overly frustrated with how hard and boring it was. Then I found this one and he can do it all on his own most of the time and I just love all the concepts it is covering this year. We will definitely be buying the 5th grade version very soon. It covers all the right things - thank you!

This book reads like a good educational reading comprehension book. It’s a nice workbook to check off both boxes-science & reading comprehension.Answers are in the back for quick grading

We use these like a guide on what my son should be learning and the lessons are easy for him to do on his own with little help. Then we expand from them and watch videos and read books that go along with what he learned in this workbook. We can't afford the pricey curriculums and this brand has given us an affordable option.

I do think this book is a great supplement. It’s thorough and provides a lot of information about many things. However, it’s not exciting. More cut and dry. No color pages and it’s a bit challenging for my 9 year old son. He dreads doing this book, as he says it’s too hard. Just something to consider. If you want a color book or something more engaging and interactive, this isn’t the book.

My 3rd grade class has no difficulty reading the information.it is a good extra fill I for science

I bought this for my 4th grader. I am very impressed as it covers a lot of important information about cells, organ systems ecosystems ect.. and the review questions really test his reading comprehension. I would definitely buy this again!

Definitely my favorite books for science homeschooling. Covers the material and encourages independent research. Makes for a good teaching environment
