Good book for the price
Has all the material as the normal book, but is designed for students in colleges outside of the US it came from Bangladesh. So it is on cheeper paper a little fragile. All over this is a great buy for the price 25$ vs 110$.

a very professional lay out of the material
The material was well presented. However it was too advanced for the curriculum we are using.

It’s a textbook!
Good condition. A couple of 3 x 5 cards and notes in the margins but nothing too bad. Didn’t use it too much.

Not new, damaged binding
For $170 and a "new" description, the book came damaged. The binding was sliced. The content of this book is excellent. Not sure why they sell damaged goods.

A book explaining the basics and much more
Ok, this is my honest review. The book quality wise is good. Paper quality is good, binding is good. Delivered in excellent condition. Fonts size is suitable for reading.Coming to the academic part. The information is very detailed. Yeah, too detailed. It explains each and every phenomena from a scientific point of view, in contrast to a lot of Soil Science and Soil Chemistry textbooks which lists only cause and effects (Agriculture Students will know).Secondly, I noticed some areas which is apparently problematic. Like they always take US as the example (Kind of expected coz of Foreign writers), and the use of units lbs, instead of meteric system. This is not always the case but for a beginner like me who has been studying in metric system all his life was a bit of a problem. Keeping in mind the conversion units does the job.If you are in your 4th year studying for jrf, this this book is a big no no. This book requires time to understand as it is concept based, nor fact based. If you want to tackle this book, start from 2nd or maximum 3rd yr. A lot of concepts overlap what is taught in Kim H. Tan soil chemistry book, so once you are familiar with the previous one, it is easier to read this book.At the end, this book really connects what you have studied in High School to the agriculture subject. The subject is never dealt with in this way atleast in UG level in college so be prepared to face the challenges. All in one, is a great book, moreover the only one you may need in this subject. So go ahead and enjoy!
