4 stars because after only about 1 month, the first amount of water every morning or evening, after it's been off for a few hours, comes out yellowish brown. I thought I was paying top dollar for the best. In all the years of green or black hoses, this has never happened. Also, little bit concerning that slight signs of fraying are showing up. Also, there needs to be some reinforcement at the nozzle connection so there isn't so much stress on the end (extreme bending). For these reasons, I will buy a second hose for the front yard, however it will NOT be this hose. I will try another brand.

This is a collapsible hose. But when I attached to a standard multi-nozzle watering wand with a hand trigger and turned it on, IT COLLAPSED OR SHRANK INSTEAD OF EXPANDING! and I mean a LOT -- the hose literally pulled itself out of my hand and retracted several feet. My reaction was "Whut the h*ll??!!" So, basically, it looks like you use the hose with the supplied power nozzle and no other attachment -- unless there are attachments out there that would work that I don't know about......

I had read the reviews and expected this hose to be perfect for my back yard. I hooked it up to a drip system timer and left the hose on. After 35 days of the hose being used it cracked. Of course it cracked in the middle of the day. This caused my backyard to get flooded from the water continuing to come out of the crack. This product expands to the length as advertised, but this product is not reliable and I am highly disappointed. If managed to stop working right outside the time period of me being able to return it. Those looking for a hose should look elsewhere.

This hose seems well made and the idea is great. Be aware that it is different than a regular hose - when you start using it (and the water is flowing through) the hose shortens like a slinky - making it shorter than you might need. It stores super small and easy and is very flexible. The brass fittings seem well constructed and overall, I am enjoying using this hose.Customer service was very responsive to my needs.

This is literally the worst hose I've ever purchased. The hose claims to be 150 feet long. While it may stretch to 150 feet, you have to pull on it very hard, and there is constant tension, such that once you let go of hose, it will recoil. It's really no longer than my other 75 foot hose.Most importantly, the pressure of this hose is absolutely horrible. Its half the pressure of my other hose, and is in fact so poor, I cant even use a sprinkler on it.I strongly urge potential customers not to buy this product.

Update 7.17.2019Approximately 3 days after I returned the product, and left my initial review, I was contacted by the company via emailThey offered me a free replacement for me to try the product again. I got the replacement couple days later.I haven't had chance to open the replacement yet, but I am very grateful and thankful for the company who is not just talk the talk, but actually walk the walk. They said they are behind the product they sell, and they have proved me that they are. I am update my overall rating, and will update this feedback again after I have the chance to use try out the product again.thank you so much, Titan.*****************************************************************the very next day after having hose hooked, hose started to leak, and leaked over night. Did not noticed it till hours later. Water flooded the back yard causing damages. Quality wise is a total disappointment.

I wanted a short hose to clean off my 6' x 12' deck. I had my doubts about the functionality of this product but, based on reviews, I decided to give it a try. My intended use was for light hose-downs, but I also needed something to blast off the accumulated bird feed shells and husks that accumulate below my bird feeders -- especially during rainy periods.Two minutes was enough to determine that this hose wasn't up to the job. It has a small inside diameter that can't manage to get enough water to my multi-pattern nozzle. When the nozzle is closed, the hose extends to its full length, but when I open the nozzle valve, after that initial surge of water, the volume drops and the hose begins to contract. It won't do the job.If you're doing planter watering, leaf spraying, or some other low volume/low pressure use, maybe this hose will work. But this is going back tomorrow, and I'll be shopping for a real hose.

The size and weight of this water hose is perfect but I received it already damaged!Very disappointing!
