It works well, and no kitty irritation. -- 1 Week update...
Day 3: If you are like most people, you have three main concerns over flea medication: 1. Is it safe? 2. Will it kill the fleas? 3. How much is it going to cost? We have a total of 9 cats, and we imported a bad flea problem when we brought in a feral mama kitty and her 4 kittens. Before we knew they had fleas, we had an infestation for all of our cats. We placed the kittens with a no kill adoption shelter after socializing them, and kept mama since she was amicable to being domesticated. But that still left us with fleas. One of our cats with long hair had the worst flea problem. I was using a flea comb on him twice a day, and getting roughly 20 fleas off of him per combing. All cats were fighting with itching and biting at their fleas. I tried using the Hartz topical drops, and I might as well have been using water. It brought no change at all for any of the cats. I then waited one month to use this product, and it went well. None of the cats seemed irritated by the drops. A few didn’t like the liquid on their neck, but they didn’t do mouthing motions like they had with the Hartz, which indicates they could taste the Hartz while it was entering their system. Within 12 hours of their individual applications (I staggered them so I could isolate each cat while the drops dried) the amount of biting and scratching at fleas dropped greatly. I did combing of a few of them at the 24 hour marks, and the one long-hair had 2 living fleas that could barely walk, and no other fleas at all. Within 48 hours, there were no fleas found on any of the cats except the long-hair, who had 2 small fleas that were still alive, but could not stand. These were small, and probably had just hopped onto him from the carpeting. I am very happy with the results, and will follow-up with a second treatment at the 30 days mark. One bit of advice—if you have a beard or hair trimmer that is not too loud, and cannot cut skin, I would suggest trimming a quarter-sized spot on the back of your cat’s neck before applying this. (If you can convince your cat to sit for it!) Doing this will allow you to apply the medication directly to the skin/undercoat, allowing it to sink in directly without wicking up too much into the fur. When I did this, the liquid—which has the consistency of a thin oil—sat in that spot and did not run all over. Petting the cat and keeping it in an upright position for a few minutes allowed the treatment to seep and spread at the skin level, which is most effective. A good product at a good price! I will amend this if there is anything negative to report, but I do not anticipate such. Day 7: The fleas are coming back. The frist 1-2 days the numbers combed out of the cats plummeted dramatically. Then the numbers started to rise. I can understand that the flea eggs and larvae that were on the floor and everywhere else might have been rotating in, but that would not explain the dramatic decline, and then rise, in fleas combed out. Figure--if fleas were rotating in, then they should have been rotating in the first 1-2 days as well. Not a problem. But the fact remains that the numbers are going up. The only thing I can think of is that the toxicity to fleas drops off after a couple of days, and thus the ones are simply not dying off as quickly. And after only 1 week, that tells me that by the end of the second week, the fleas will be back in full force, with 2 more weeks before I can treat again.

Affordable and effective coverage...in applicators that never expire!
The product is great. It's effective and affordable. I was a little concerned that both packages I received were open at the bottom. But the contents were complete and intact. I was concerned also that no expiration date was printed anywhere inside or out, but a little research showed that the contents do not expire. Neither my cats nor I care much for the smell of the topical, but it pretty much wears off within 24 hours. So, bottom line, all is well, and I recommend!

Same effect as Advantage II
For years our indoor/outdoor cat has occasionally had fleas and ticks. We've always used Advantage II for large cats and had great results. Because of the cost, I decided to try TevraPet and over the past year haven't noticed a difference. Our home is flea and tick free. We use it monthly as directed. I have to hold him wrapped in a towel so I don't get scratched while my wife squirts behind his head by his shoulders.

BUYER BEWARE - read warnings in review
Extremely dangerous plastic packaging, almost sliced my finger off trying to get this open. USE CAUTION WHEN ATTEMPTING TO OPEN, REMOVE FROM PACKAGING AND APPLY THIS PRODUCT. The pods containing the liquid are odd shaped, very poorly designed, with same sharp plastic that scratched the cats’ skin trying to apply these - had to recut an arc into the tips and lost a bunch. Liquid is super greasy and doesn’t absorb quickly; was still all over the cats’ fur hours later - and I got it right in the spot between the shoulder blades. It just spreads everywhere into the fur. These are the small issues…. Big issue: I have a 14 week old, a 2-yr old and one in-between…I gave them each a pod of this about ten days ago and they’re all scratching and full of fleas. They are indoor besides patio and I do spray preventive in and out, so this is just a really lousy product all around. Not the “cheap one” either, so I expected MUCH more than this. I used all the pods (treated the 2-yr old a few weeks before the last dose and repeated because that one didn’t work) - so I can’t do a return but would really like my money back because now I have to buy more again. Buyer beware.

Usually works 100% last treatment however, was a bust. Fleas returned
I have been using this product for about a year and a half now I guess. Maybe more. It's been working very well. But this last batch, it has not worked at all. From the moment of retreatment til now, it has been 15 days. Already the fleas have taken over completely Went from nothing to infestation in like a weeks time after applying the latest batch. The customer service at tevra pet has not returned my call so I had to call Amazon and request a replacement product but they could only give me a refund. So I'm hoping if I choose to buy the same product, it will work. But I'm also wondering if maybe the fleas are developing an immunity to the product? So until the refund gets here I guess I'll research and see if I can figure out the best decision to make. Really trying to hold out hope that this was just a one off incident because other than that. The product has working perfect each time I would rate it 5 stars, but the amount of useless plastic packaging is nonsense. I'm not sure why you would need individual plastic packaging to wrap up a plastic tube, that is already packaged in a box. Doesn't make much sense. There is to much pollution in this world, so I deduct 2 stars for that. Otherwise, the product is much better than pet armor. The last 3 uses of that has caused an explosion of fleas when there were hardly none, and definitely didn't stop them from laying eggs or biting my cats. I haven't noticed any fleas on my cats after this application, but they are still hatching, I believe that was from the pet armor and will take some time to clear. Please think about Earth mother. This is your home, the only one you have, please take care of it and get rid of the useless plastic that serves no purpose and I will gladly update to a 5 star rating.
