Tempur-Pedic TEMPUR-Body Pillow, Queen

I had a Tempur-Pedic Body pillow for almost 15 years but it was too short, about 35 inches long and always experienced body-pillow cases that were way too big and hated it. So, I bought one that was 48 inches long and used the existing body-pillow cases but the cases were too short but I was able to stuff the body-pillow in but the pillow felt like I was hugging a brick! I ended up buying couple 100% cotton cases that were made for 48 inch body pillows to see if that would make a difference before returning it. What a difference a perfect size pillow case makes! The body-pillow fits perfectly with my height (5ft) and it definitely helps with the leg pain and restless legs syndrome I've been having lately. It no longer feels like I'm hugging a brick - still weighs bit heavy but it actually feels good to rest my legs on something solid and yet soft. Because it is made with solid block of the Tempur-Pedic material (not shredded) it does not get flatten at all but molds to my leg. The bottom-line, I'm not returning it. It is more pricier than others in the market but I'm gland I've spent bit more for a quality product!

Tried numerous body pillows but this one beats them all. No wonder people trust the brand.

I gave this five stars because I love it, but it's a very personal taste. It's hard at first and heavy, and as one reviewer said somewhat "brick" like. But once the memory foam warms, it molds to your body, is very supportive and my arthritic bones like it a lot. However, it is very different from a soft, lightweight, polyester fill body pillow, and may not be for everyone.

TLDR; the short pillow on the left is for scale, the tempurpedic body pillow is the one on the right. It is as flat as a standard pillow, which is not thick enough for me. The middle (thicker) body pillow is in the link below for $30. I take my tempurpedic pillow with me on trips and I can’t sleep without that special support anymore. I was totally willing to spend the $130 if it was just as good as my side sleeper pillow. I didn’t want a crappy diaper of a pillow, you know? The texture, density and firm support of this body pillow was there but it just....wasn’t what I was expecting. Too flat, and as a side sleeper there’s a sweet spot where my knee has to be resting and this just wasn’t high enough. Surprisingly, the middle option COSBAY BODY PILLOW was better than the tempurpedic material. I know. How? It’s not the same material as teddy bear stuffing or feathers or whatever plastic bags they use to fill hotel pillows. It’s more like a Casper mattress. It’s got some spring-back to it, whereas the tempurpedic just sinks down. It is the perfect height, and as soon as I put me knee on it I said F yeah! This is the sweet spot. Sorry tempurpedic. You’re still number one for cradling my head though. *Tempurpedic Tempur-Contour Side-to-Back is the side sleeper pillow in the picture for size reference.

Well it is now 30 April 2024 and I still love sleeping with my body pillow. Eventhough one now cost about $151, cosidering every thing has gone up in price. the Thempurpedic body pillow is worth the cost. I do not believe there is another body on the market that comes anywhere near the firmnest of this pillow. Update (11/11/21) I bought my body pillow back in March 2017, and after four and a half years of use I still find it to be the best body pillow available. The comments I made back in 2017, are still valid. First review March 2017 - If you are looking for a good firm body pillow then look know further. Unlike a lot of other body pillows this one does not flatten out when you curl up next to it. Most body pillows I have found in stores do not are not worth the money. When testing these pillows I apply pressure with my hands and I can just about touch my hands through the pillow, Eventhough it appears that Tempur-Pedic has not been marketing this item for the past year or so you can still find that there are some available from vendors. If this is your first time shopping for Tempur-pedic products you will find that they tend to be on the expensive side. Keep in mind that even though the products are expensive you also get a very good product.

I was so excited for a new body pillow but i hated this one the memory foam does not create enough space between the knees or enough space between the legs to support back pain. Extremely disappointed especially with the prices absolutely returning. Not good for people with chronic pain!!!!

The pillow is definitely robust, thickly filled and very firm. As a side sleeper I have to work to throw my top leg and arm over it, whereas with my old pillow I just grabbed the pillow and that was it. And then, no matter which kind of pillowcase I've tried, it's very slippery, so the upper part (where I had hoped to rest my arm) keeps sliding out from under my arm, so that when I wake up to roll over, my shoulder and arm hurt, and if I was facing the edge of the bed, the pillow is in danger of falling off, held in place only by my knees. It feels like I'm trying to cuddle up to an enormous plump watermelon seed that keeps wanting to squirt out from my embrace. Hah. But the worst part about this pillow is the weight. When you roll over in the night you don't want to be wrestling with a 50-pound pillow (which is what this feels like). Each time I roll over, I have to actively wake myself up so that I can flounder around moving this enormous thing and get it into place (without dropping it on my sleeping husband), then settle in again, pulling the upper part as close to my shoulder as I can. By this point I'm fully awake and have to wait 20 minutes or so before I can fall asleep again. Last night, after about 2 weeks of struggle, I finally gave up and went back to my pillow from 2018 (a cheapie from Amazon which is getting kind of flat), and fell asleep right away, and had no struggles for the rest of the night. So I don't recommend this one unless you're prepared to deal with a lot of pillow activity in the night!

Desde hace más de 10 años me he hecho adicto a esta marca, no hay nadie en el Mkt que se le acerque. Son productos de calidad y que duran mucho. Vale la pena cada peso invertido, si nunca has comprado algo tempur deberías de probarlo. Esta almohada ya es mi favorita pues yo mido 1.90 y duermo literal enroscado a ella, desde mi punto de vista te conviene más está almohada que una standard tempur, pues pagas un poquito más, pero tienes una almohada para todo el cuerpo!!! El único detalle que me toco es que con mi reloj le jale un hilo a su funda :(. Pero lo acepto fue mi culpa. De ahí en fuera todo excelente Duermo feliz, descansadooooo lo único malo de ello es que no me quiero salir de la cama!!

Really tall. Feels comfortable when hugging it. Its like hugging a person. Really good if you are a side sleeper. One improvement i would add to it would be a gel cool coating so that its colder. But that's just my personal preference. I enjoy it regardless. I also wish it came with a pillowcase so i didn't have to buy that separately

For those who had seen n feel Tempur Long Hug, please be aware that this Tempur-pedic Body Pillow is different although both had the same measurements. This is made of full slab of memory foam while long hug is made with pieces of memory foam. Long Hug is softer compared to this Body Pillow. If you intend to use this as a pillow it will be wonderful but if you plan to hug it to sleep I personally would prefer long hug.

Last year I replaced my old Sealy posturepedic mattress with a Tempur bed and tempur original neck support pillow. I had back issues and they made a massive difference after a few months. Since then I sustained some injuries in my hip and was looking for something to support me in that area. I found this Tempur option and although not cheap, decided to take a chance and was pleasantly surprised. This pillow is long, very long, but is just the right firmness and provides great sleep support for knee and hip/back pain. If you are a front or side sleeper, this is the pillow for you. Some reviews say they wish it was longer - I'm medium height, but think it's perfectly fine. I toss and turn alot, I mean alot, and since I've had this pillow, its helped me relax and calm down. So happy with this purchase, it just has the right feel to it and I love cuddling up with it - if you love that memory foam Tempur style, you won't be disappointed. The product name of this is "Body" pillow, but I rang Tempur and they confirmed it is the same as a "Long Hug" pillow. Oh, worth mentioning the other use case, even if you're not happy with it on the bed (which you will be) but if not, it would serve well as a lounge pillow too. So go ahead and buy it, what have you got to lose!

I absolutely love this cuddle pillow! It’s so cozy and comforting. I just wish it were a little longer for the perfect snuggle!
