Studying is hard, but SHRMP CP& SCP EXAM PREP will make it a whole lot easier. This study guide is a perfect guide for professionals in the field Human Resources. Those who are looking for something to use as a substitute for taking a class should find this book immensely helpful. A few things you should consider if you have doubts about buying this book is:1. Its an updated copy of all major topics and questions related to HR management and Society. 2019-2020.2. All practice exams are covered in the book and have a answer key.Newstone Test Prep is a reliable source for exam prepping. I personally would combined this with a class; but I have friends who can study and pass exams without additional learning. A couple things you should know before you do go and attempt the class ; is this book assumes you have prior knowledge. Another thing is that it goes over quite a lot of things from behavioral competencies to planning and managing a strategy. I like that this book is easy to follow along with and explains all concepts so your never left confused. Its a good buy and perfect for a last minute study/cram session.

Information in this book is not accurate and is poorly worded.

This is less of a study guide, and more practice exams. I am finding the exams helpful, but having a hard time finding a few concepts. It would be nice for the info to be in the book. The English and grammar aren't so great

This is the only book I used to study for the SHRM-CP Exam. I mainly focused on the practice tests. I passed on my first try. This is a solid study guide and helpful to get used to the testing format. (Side note: I am also an attorney, so I didn't need to study the HR laws).

When a book has no listed author, publisher address, published date, etc., you should worry. After purchasing this book -- in an attempt to not have to pay hundreds to SHRM to take a study class -- and realizing that not only is much of the book written in broken English and incomplete sentences, but some of the answers to the test questions are wrong, I attempted to contact the author/publisher. I then realized there's literally NO information on who wrote this book inside the book, at all. Amazon should not be selling this book. Another example of how bad this book is: I answered one of their prep test questions, the book told me I got it wrong, and then I looked up the tested theory online, and I was right! This book is basically spreading misinformation, a worst case scenario for test takers. It's actually a legal liability. Save your $40.

Don’t rely on this alone for studying. Very unprofessional. The writing is terrible. There are poorly worded questions. There are completely incorrect answers. There are irrelevant explanations. It’s useful for finding some topical vocabulary, but ultimately you should not rely on this as a study guide.

This SHRM CP and SCP Exam book is extremely helpful. If you do plan on taking the SHRM CP exam, this is the right book to have. Everything is laid out nicely for beginners and is very easy to read through and follow. I highly recommend this to anyone looking to take the 2019-2020 exam!

Hefty book with questions that make you do back and make sure you know the material fully. A must buy for anyone trying to get SHRM CP & SCP certified!I've never felt more confident than after using this book to study with the exam questions.
