simplehumanFoldaway Squeegee, Stainless Steel

My husband and I just moved into a newly built home last month, and we have wound up purchasing several Simplehuman products (see also my reviews for simplehuman Steel Frame Dishrack with Wine Glass Holder and simplehuman Rectangular Step Trash Can). When I realized that my new glass shower door was becoming streaked with water spots, I again turned to Simplehuman.I was attracted to this particular squeegee for two reasons (other than the Simplehuman name brand). One, the stainless zinc finish matches the brushed nickel finises of our other bathroom hardware, including our shower door itself. Two, I loved the fact that this squeegee folded, enabling it to be inconspicuously tucked out of the way in a corner of the shower; most of the other squeegees I considered (including the one by Oxo, another brand I usually like), were large and bulky.Although I also liked that this squeegee came with a suction cup for hanging, I suspected that I might not be able to use it, and I was right about that. The suction cup does work--IF you stick it to a PERFECTLY FLAT surface. Unfortunately, no tile surface is perfectly flat, and although the suction cup DID appear to stick at first, it slowly lost its grip. For me, this is not at issue, as it is just as easy to fold the squeegee in half and leave it on the built-in bench of our shower. In this sense, the squeegee is perfect: when open, it has an excellent span and does a very good job of clearing my glass shower door of water, soap scum, and other debris. When closed, it is not at all unattractive, and even better, it is barely noticeable.As long as you are not counting on the suction cup, I would definitely recommend this squeegee for shower use.

Just ordered and received this squeegee. I like the finish, performance, and that it folds. It's very effective at removing the excess water from my shower door without leaving any streaks. Good value, and feels like it will outlast it's 5-year warranty.

This is absolutely the best squeegee I have used on our shower glass. It does take a bit of practice to use effectively but the results as excellent. Having bought a cheaper item that had issues with leaving residue and causing cloudiness I decided to pay more for this product and so glad I did. The squeegee really sticks to the glass when pulling along to clear off water etc. and leaves nothing but a crystal clear glass after using it. Couldn’t have asked for a better product. Watch out for the cheap/inexpensive squeegees and give this a go, you will be happy you did.

I have 2 glass shower doors and have tried various squeegees. This one is hands down the best. Quality product, sleek and unobtrusive when stored. I felt with other squeegees I always had to apply a lot of pressure to wipe off the water. This squeegee requires almost no pressure applied and totally clears off all water drops! It folds neatly by the shower frame door and is barely noticeable. The suction cup hook kept falling off my tile wall so I found some small metal hooks I attached with silicone glue to the tile wall. Works great. Simple Human scores with another fabulous product.

Works fine and folds up for easy storage. 6 months later and it still looks like new having been used daily to wipe down shower tiles

I bought this to replace another one just like it that I had for over ten years. I used it daily and it worked like a champ until about a week ago. I liked it so much I replaced it with the exact same one. Definitely got my money's worth out of it. Highly recommend.

I love my new squeegee! This is so practical and great for small places in the bathroom. It's stainless steel and it folds for easier storage. The grip on the glass is great and it's easy to hold in your hands. Love all the "Simplehuman" products. This product is absolutely worth the money. Thank you!

I purchased this product back in 2012 and I am just now having to replace it 6 years later! I had no idea it had been that long until I searched my Amazon orders to re-order it. Wow, it deserves 5 stars for durability alone. I am using mine to clean my shower glass walls and door (it is mounted on the suction cup). True, in the last year of use the suction would fall off every few months but not that hard to stick it back and seeing as it worked perfectly for 5 years - I can't complain about that. Also, the old one is showing some streaks as would be expected by now. I am impressed with this squeegee and did not hesitate to order a new one. Hopefully, the new one I just received today will hold up equally as well.
