Solid, durable, tacky grip for your AM MTB
Item arrived on time and as described.I have tried several different grips before this one, and it is the best in my opinion. The compound is very tacky, providing a ton of grip.Installation was a breeze. I have applied a small amount of grease to the bolts as instructed on packaging, then tightened everything up. Nothing moves, everything is solid. The color is a personal preference item. I like it a lot. It's kind of translucent, yellowish. Very unique. So, in summary: this is a high quality product that I would recommend for your AM mountain bike, if you are looking for a solid, durable, tacky grip.

Better than Troy Lee ODI's.
I have been using ODI Lock On's with my bikes for as long as I can remember. But late last year when I was building a new Enduro bike, I read the write up on Pinkbike about these new grips. The article spoke mainly to Renthals legacy of high quality manufacturing and the "stickiness" of these grips due to the Kevlar added to the rubber. Both of these aspects have proven to be very true.I have used these grips for about 500 miles now, paired with a Renthal Fatbar and Renthal stem. I have never felt better grips than these. With gloves on or your bare hands, you actually feel like you are "glued" to the bike. But when you remove your hands, there is no sticky residue, ever after 4+ hours of riding. They are extremely solid grips, with just enough padding to keep you from fading on extremely long rides. The lock on rings stay in place perfectly and have never slipped (I have never retightened them) during wild, out of control downhill sections. If you need a new grip, get these, they are the best. And if anyone says the color is ugly, just say they glow in the dark.

Nice Grips
Ive used the moto version of these grips and liked them, so I put them on my DH bike. These are a smallish diameter grip with a light low profile diamond pattern (no waffle) so if you are into a larger diameter grip these probably aren't for you. I had no problem with the hardware that other reviewers complained about. The compound is soft and grippy and the moto ones last forever and feel softer as they wear. Because of the semi-transparent compound they do get dirty if that would bother you.

Good grip but too thin
It’s a good enough grip, but too thin for my liking. I prefer more cushion and a little more grip to grab on to. I tried these after finding the Red Monkey Karv’s to be too slippery. Oury’s have worked well in the past, but the lock-ons are not stellar, and the non-lockon type can be finicky to install securely. Next I’m trying the Ergon GA2 Fat.

Great grip
I bought these because I really liked Renthal's Kevlar grips on my track day motorcycle. The mountain bike grips are the exact same compound, install easy, and, with gloves, give a familiar feel to my motorcycle.

Great grips, just don’t get them wet!
Great grips! Only gripe is that they get very slick when wet. If you can keep your hands dry, they are outstanding! Maybe a different pattern on the grip would help this.
