my dream is to one day get a cashew tree (yes, I know they're very messy) in here, but 'til then, once or twice a year I work some "extra overtime" *just* so I can buy myself ten or twelve pounds of raw cashews from amazon. I always mean to soak them in salt water and lime juice and then roast them...but they taste so good raw, straight out of the bag, I've only done that once or twice.these cashews are delicious! I only buy from a couple of companies and have never gotten a bad batch. a handful of these with a piece of fruit is the perfect meal on the go when I don't have the time or energy to cook something. I have a blender that does nut butters, so whenever I find extra-crisp and juicy apples, I like to make cashew butter with fresh lime juice and pink salt, and slather it on apple slices. this is one of my favorite meals, ever (either alone, or as an apple/cashew-butter sammich made with a piece of fresh naan)...but sadly, it's hard to find a good apple, these days.I keep raw cashews in the freezer. this gives them an extra bit of crunch and prevents them from getting stale. but it's hard to keep myself in check when they're around. few things are more delicious than cashews, and they are jam-packed with nutrients. I eat very healthily and don't count calories as a general rule, but if one isn't careful one could gain fifty pounds in a week gorging on cashews.I am determined to do some soaked-in-lime-juice-and-salt roasting with these, but I've said that before. and meant it. until I get around to that, however, I'll be enjoying them (immensely) straight out of the bag. these cashews are fresh and tasty. and on a per-meal basis, they're really not that expensive. I've been buying these for years, and will most definitely buy them again. and again. and again...

I ordered them to use in cashew cheese sauce, but somehow I've become addicted to eating a handful daily as a snack. They are the cleanest, freshest ones I've had. They have a nice crunch and have the real taste of cashews, unlike the bland taste of others I've used in the past. I immediately ordered 2 more bags after trying them..They may not all be whole nuts in the bag, some are broken, but if you are looking for taste and quality, that's what you'll get with this product. I highly recommend it.

I have purchased these cashews several times, and have been pleased every time. The taste is good, and lest someone be disappointed, they are not crunchy. They aren't supposed to be when raw. They are firm, though. I always check for bugs, and haven't seen hide nor hair of them. The price is right, too. I would recommend them to anyone. I do wish they would put place of origin on the package.

I buy a lot of cashew nuts from this seller. The quality is very good - only two times from my ten purchases the bag had too many broken nuts. Cashews nuts are very beneficial - two handfuls of cashews each day may keep depression at bay because they are very rich in Tryptophan. Depressive episodes are often triggered when the body drops in serotonin and Tryptophan can boost it again. I can honestly say that this really works. Several handfuls of cashews provide 1,000-2,000 milligrams of tryptophan, which will work as well as prescription antidepressants.The high levels of magnesium and vitamin B6 found in cashews may also help to stabilize mood. Approximately five ounces of cashews a day will provide a middle-aged man with his daily-required magnesium intake, a nutrient that, when low, can trigger mild depression. Vitamin B6 lends a hand to converting tryptophan into serotonin and helps magnesium enter into the body's cells.

My experience with ordering nuts has been horrible until now. I was shockingly surprised at the freshness of the cashews. The bag was filled to the top with buttery creamy, rich cashews not hard or stale at all. I like raw nuts and these cashews didn't disappoint. The cashews are not small or large but are sizable. So far no halves but whole cashews which are even greater because that is what I expected. The cashews come in a resealable bag but I always transfer them into my own airtight mason jar. These are creamy and mild, cashews. Worth the buy

I just got my 10 pound bag. I don't see any broken ones in the bag at all. What you see in the product image is what you get. I tried a handful of the cashews - they were crunchy, fresh, and sweet. The zip-lock package sealed up easily. I'm looking forward to using them in my non-dairy cheese recipes. One word of caution - nuts go stale/rancid rather quickly if not stored properly, so make sure you have enough room in your freezer if you don't plan on using them soon. The bag, with the contents compressed, is about 13X11X4".

The cashews were nice and big, with the vast majority being whole. There were a number of small pieces at the bottom of the bag, but that's pretty expected with so many cashews. They made an absolutely excellent cashew brittle.My order took just over a week to arrive, which was pretty decent considering it was shipped across the country. They came double bagged in clear plastic bags, and in two 5 lb portions. This was highly convenient since I could just throw one of the bags into the freezer until I was ready to work with it.Great value for the price.

Excellent product. I re packed half of it in smaller zip lock bags just to keep the original bag untouched until use. If you are on a strict diet allow the much needed cholesterol of cashews do it’s job. Never knock cholesterol down to cero. Consume them once or twice a day as a snack. Its pretty good at delaying hunger also.

I don't eat dairy and use cashews frequently to make cream sauces and to put in baking. I was looking for bulk cashews that were better than the price you could get a Superstore. These were much cheaper than the competitor and there is no difference in quality. They are fresh and I've used them in a variety of vegan dishes already. Will purchase again when we run out.
