Matthews ME-CR, Melody Chrome 13" Outdoor Wall Fan with Wall Control

I was nervous about spending this much money for a fan but wanted a wall mount and all the others were plastic and cheap. This was easier to install than we thought it would be and runs really quiet and smooth. It doesn't vibrate on the wall and moves a lot of air. The control has 3 speeds and oscillation on or off. All this AND a seriously cool, retro look. We absolutely love it are glad we took the leap. Note... be sure to read the warning sheets that are on top once you unpack the box. Because of the advanced gearing it needs to be handled in a certain way during install.

Although it is not the largest fan it is certainly powerful. I was hesitant about the size (13" radius) when I purchased it but once it was up on the wall and saw what it could do I got over it. If it was any larger it would probably not hold. It is a heavy little guy, not cheap and all plastic.When we installed it and turned it on we joked about the speeds,and their power: normal, tropical storm and hurricane. Installed it on the wall of a covered patio that measures 30x10 and it does a nice job keeping the area pleasant in the south florida heat along with a large BBQ going at the same time.Installation was not as difficult as expected very simple and to the point. We had the unit up in under two hours

We were looking for an oscillating fan at this angle to push air up to help cool off an open loft we just built (we hung it upside down), and this was literally the only one we could find, at any price. And it does great, plus it's beautiful and very well made. I just wish it cost less (and if there'd been one almost as good for 2/3 the price, I'd have bought that one instead.

Very nice product. The extra box for the electrical was smart.The heavy mounting bracket is good too.Very stylish on our wall between the kitchen and dining room.Moves the air nicely without blowing you over.

I have really low ceilings and poor vent location, I've used tower fans for years around the house but they are clunky and in the way. I LOVE THIS FAN!!! It moves the air perfectly between my living room and kitchen. Looks super cool too!

This wall fan made huge difference in our master bath, we can take a hot shower and not suffer a hot bathroom

really nice-looking fan, moves a lot of air. great product, though pricey2 weeks after install -- the switch is not working.

The fan was not an "powerful" as I thought it would be.
