WAVERLY French Door Curtain-Donnington 26" x 68" Tie Up Light Filtering Single Panel Drapes for Patio, Living Room and Bedroom, Crimson

We ordered this curtain for a glass door in our bedroom. Most of the other curtain panels similar to this style all come in solid colors with limited and unattractive colors. I was excited when I found this attractive design and that it had a seemingly simple installation. As most of the other reviews mention, this sticky velcro strip does not stick well at all. It lasted less than 12 hours before it fell off. After multiple attempts to make it stick, we eventually ordered velcro tape from another seller. Once we applied the new velcro it stuck perfectly and we haven't had any issues with it falling.What the description also doesn't mention is how thin the fabric is. The curtain works for privacy concerns, but does not block light out well at all. For the price on this I would expect a thicker material that would block light out much more effectively. We ended up buying another solid color curtain panel from another company and attaching it to the backside of this curtain to block out the light.We had to do a lot of "hacks" to make this curtain work for us, but once we did we were satisfied with the product. Just wish it came as I expected it to.

I first purchased these panels 14 years ago. Quality has diminished like most things. Thinner one-sided panel and adhesive velcro is absolute crap. They fell, and they fell, and they fell. I bought a better quality velcro set at a home store and they are staying up. Do not even bother with it. Don't get me wrong, they work, are pretty, and do what I need them to do, I was just surprised at the difference in quality. My old ones lasted until the sun started dry-rotting the back. These will never last being single panel.

The curtains are a nice weight. I washed them before putting them up. No need to iron. Just smoothed them out on the bed after they came out of the dryer. The adhesive strip for the Velcro worked just fine on our pine polyurethane coated French doors. I purchased some heavy duty Velcro after reading reviews, but didn’t use it.

If I had paid full price for these I probably would have returned them. The Velcro provided was useless. Luckily I have rolls of Velcro at my disposal so that problem was easy to fix. My main issue is that the fabric is so thin the tie up straps show through if it is at all light outside. The attached picture is at dusk and you can see them. During the day it is much more pronounced. From the outside they are always visible. I need to devise a way to pin them up when not in use. They look great from the inside as long as it's dark outside. I hope this helps.

Fast shipment. One curtain showed up with a noticable blemish (stain) and was also longer than the other but they worked great and we're easy to install. Gonna try washing to see if comes out but otherwise they will do the job. But one suggestion I do have is to upgrade the Velcro - even after prepping the surface the Velcro doesn't stick well and th curtains keep falling down.

Many years ago I purchased Waverly panels similar style to these and have loved them. I updated decor and needed new ones.I ordered these. Print was pleasing, but fabric is not double sided so from the outside of the door, it is just the white backing that shows.Curtain is thin and definitely NOT light blocking. Light filtering is actual what I needed anyway.Overall nice curtains, just disappointed that they are thin, quality is not like it was years ago.

I love the pattern and colors, but the tape system is not the best to hold to a door. Instead of returning I sewed a pocket to slide a rod through the top.

These are just ok, but they served a purpose. I have new doors that needed covering while I decide what window coverings to buy. One side of the Velcro is sewn onto the curtain, while the other Velcro strip sticks to the door, but the Velcro doesn't stick to the two-sided tape! After working for a long tIme to get the tape off the door (ugh!), I ended up using several of the 3M picture hanger strips on the door and they worked like a charm.
