PATIENCE! When I opened this product and tried to use it, water just spilled all over the place. OK...put the water in the bottle, put the top on it. Take it outside and turn it upside down over the plant. Yes, water will leak into the little cup thing. Then the water stops. Put it in the plant. Easy. Hint: before using it the first time, water the plants to make it easier to get the stick into the plant and it will give watering a head start. Then just check it occasionally. You will need a bigger bottle during hot weather. When it runs out of water, take the whole device out and repeat the process. Works great.

The media could not be loaded. They don’t work at all. I bought two of the bottles from the pictures. A 20 oz. Dasani bottle of water and a 16.9 oz. Coke and neither of them were the right fit. So disappointing!!! I feel misled by the advertisement. 😞UPDATE: I also spent money on a 2 little bottle. Of course, it didn’t fit. Water still was leaking.I took a measuring tape to the store and measure all kinds of bottles of stores, water, you name it. None of them were the right fit. Too sad. I have returned the items and waiting for a refund.

Does not work for extended time. Good for a day or two.

If your bottle is not completely straight, this item will not contain all the water and the plant will be overwatered in minutes. Then the bottle is empty.Definitely would not last up to a day or two, let alone two weeks. Great idea, maybe retrofit to screw bottle in?

At first glance I thought these fed water thru the spikes similar to classic globe feeders. However the spike only serves as a stand and water drips from the tray at an adjustable rate.You can mod these by drilling a hole thru the main bottle connectors (near the base if you want all water to exit) and cutting the ends off the spikes. This allows water to flow down thru the spike directly into the root zone. Your plants will take the water they need and you can just close off the drip valve. One caveat with this setup over a globe feeder is exposed water in the tray. At first I wasn't a fan but it has served to collect/attract remnant fungus gnats for easy removal. If this is an area of concern for you I'd try to find the seemingly rare spike nozzle cap that doesn't expose water or stick with globe feeders.Once modded I find it way more convenient to mix nutrients and balance ph in the bottles over the slim stems of the globes.

Poor product for me. It just keeps dripping..maybe I'm using it wrong, I don't know. But the description said it drips only when soil is dry.Mine seemed to drip constantly.

They worked well but a liter of water only goes so far. They will work for indoor plants.

Fácil de usar. efectivo para regular agua a las plantas... sin embargo, la frecuencia de goteo va disminuyendo con la cantidad de nivel de agua en la botella. por lo que no siempre será igual.

No me sirvio, nunca pude regular rl goteo.
