Great Taste and Maybe a Slightly Lower Caffeine Content
Really like this coffee! It is a great quality dark roast, is the most affordable organic coffee that I️ have found. Maybe the caffeine content is a little lower than normal, not sure. I️ feel sleepy after drinking it, and have to have more, but no problem because it tastes great!

Great coffee!
Love this brand and all roasts are extremely robust and brew a great flavor in a variety of types of machines. This has been a go to brand for a couple years and will continue to be as long as it is available! Great coffee at a great value! No matter what roast you order you are getting highest quality.

Breville Espresso Machine. Making coffe magic!!
I mix my whole beans 50/50. A bag of dark roast Kult Coffe ( so smooth, no bitterness ) and a bag of this medium roast Cliffhanger Coffe that has SO much rich flavor and a wonderful milk chocolate body. I go for a medium/strong brew of espresso and it makes for a wonderful tasty cup of Coffe that’s full of flavor but not TOO strong so that I can drink a couple 10-12 oz cups. I make a double shot of espresso and make a Americano ( about 6 oz of hot water ) with a touch of real Madagascar vanilla home made sweetener, a squirt of smuckers caramel, 3 teaspoons of coffe creamer, and a small touch of half and half or teaspoon of blue bell vanilla ice cream. I know that sounds complicated but I don’t like frothed milk or flat steamed milk because it dilutes or masks some of the overtones and the taste of the freshly ground double espresso shot. That’s the heart of your drink and all that crema and aroma should show up in the end. Using hot water like an Americano and then blending in some dry coffee creamer actually adds its own nice flavor but not too much of a fatty cream taste. The coffe is 75% up front to the show and vanilla and caramel politely compliment the drink in on the last 25%. I’ve learned that you need to keep the coffee beans vacuum sealed because if you stop getting the froth/crema on your double shot or the pressure does not build up like when you first start the new bag of coffe..then those beans are no longer fresh and have dried out.. so I make a bunch of vacuum sealed bags of about 2 ounces of beans. After a year and a half with my Breville BES870XL Barista Express machine and about 8 brands and types of beans ( and tons of experimenting and tweaking this and that ) I can now honestly say that I can make a cup of coffee that rivals anything I’ve ever had ANYWHERE at any price. But taste is subjective and my way briefly explained above is not necessarily better than yours. I will say that THIS is my favorite coffee bean!! Lavaza Super Crema is a close second.

Chefs Kiss.
Fantastic and GREAT quality coffee. Can’t even tell you how many bags we’ve gone through over the last 2 years. One thing with espresso machines is that a consistent type of beans is often key, it was great to find these beans- no need to try others. Great price too.

Musty & Chemical-like flavor, appeared burnt
I had high hopes for this coffee based on recommendations from external coffee websites as well as the many good reviews on Amazon. My wife and I drink cappuccinos and regular coffee everyday using a Gaggia superautomatic. Traditionally we consume Lavazza beans and a local brand to Dallas, TX. Every now-and-again we try something new.We purchased Three Sisters and Cliff Hanger based on the flavor description. We were disgusted by both blends. Never have I ever had coffee that I felt could make me sick. Neither my wife nor I could even bring ourselves to drink 1 cup off coffee. And when I say this, please keep in mind, that I have no problems drinking and enjoying a "low-end" coffee, like Folgers or Maxwell House. It was my expectation that the coffee be at least palatable so I could give it an honest taste over a couple of weeks. To begin, the beans did not have much aroma when you open the bag. Appearance was ok. Darker than I would have expected, but not too oily. There were indications on many beans that they may have been burnt (dark flat spots). Flavor was not as advertised at all for either blend. I seriously thought I was picking up some sort of chemical-like taste. It was not pleasant and difficult to continue sipping. My wife claims the taste was musty and old. My guess is the beans were burnt, which may explain those flavors. For us to have the same experience for both bags of beans was not reassuring of the quality of this company. We quickly switched beans back to our favorite local blend, and our machine was able to produce good tasting coffee again. We were able to rule-out the potential that our machine was deteriorating or introducing a bad taste to the coffee. We decided to cut our losses and throw-out the beans. We will not be purchasing from this company again, and they do not have my recommendation.I am not sure where all of these high reviews are coming from. Seems very sketchy to me.
