Front Runner Drop Down Tailgate Table

Why buy cheap quality accessories for a 4x4 which should inherently be rugged and dependable. Front Runner makes super high quality 4x4 accessories, and I expected nothing less from a company founded in South Africa. Like the Australian 4x4 outfitters, South African's know their overland gear. Although this table was for a Jeep, I installed it on my Land Cruiser 76. The table has a good heft to it, and it's not something that will break and bend over time and a lot of use. The package comes with everything needed to install. Takes a bit of imagination and accurate measurements if retrofitting on another vehicle.

The product is incredible and well built , the installation and especially the Installation instructions are terrible .

Great feature to add on for our outdoor activities. It installs and fits well on our 2021 Rubicon. The cutting board could be a better quality especially given the price of this. The specifications do not mention what type of wood and that should be added so you know ahead of time how it will need to be cared for. I will be placing one of the thin plastic cutting board on top of this board. If I missed something about the wood, would love to know!

Purchased this for my 2019 Jeep Wrangler JLRU. Overall the table is ok, but the ease of install and quality of the pull out table is sub par. The hardware is also garbage so if you do decide to purchase this, be prepared to head down to the hardware store and get some better bolts (I used stainless which worked well and look great!). The Allen bolts provided are full of paint and will not accept a wrench. I had one half way in the door and it completely stripped out. The plywood pull table had some chipping around a couple of the fasteners and was also extremely dirty. I may refinish it in the near future. For the money I would expect a better looking product with quality fasteners.Now for the good... the latch that holds the table seems solid. Once the table is closed and latched, the table does not move in the frame. Hopefully it will stay that way after a few trails. The table hinges are effortless and do not squeak. They should hold anything you put on it.We can’t wait to use it. Just wished it was easier to install and I didn’t have to buy new hardware!

Directions need improvment, but product is awesome so far. I have a tent that fits over the back on my jeep so that the cargo area becomes a sleeping spot. This table is absolutly perfect for this. Reccomend %100. Just make sure you have someone handy to make likly adjustments during install.

I like the concept of this product, however the fit is questionable. If you follow the directions and measure down 45 mm then the slide out will not function. You have to bring it down further. See photos. Then this causes the tailgate not to shut because the table hits on the storage cover where your factory jack is located. and you will need to trim the cover to shut the tailgates. See pictures. Even with these issues it doesn’t compare to the drilling. By following the directions and aligning the table as far right as possible it causes you to drill into support brackets inside the tailgate. You have to drill through to get the inserts properly installed. The support bracket next to the factory rear brake light grommet is flush with the skin of the tailgate. See pictures you will come through. I have made a lot of upgrades to my Rubicon ,lift kit ,bumpers ,fenders. List goes on and on. But this was an install that I should have stoped as soon as I saw it would not work after measuring the 45 mm down.And as for that measurement we are in America send directions in inches. Just so happened I lived in Europe so I had a tape measure in the metric system.

We were very excited to get our drop down table. My wife and I travel the country in our RV and we tow our Jeep. I installed the drop down table on our Jeep and we love it. The instal was easy with great directions, you may have to get a little creative with the location but once you find a good spot it goes on easily. The included spacers came in very handy. I installed this table on my 2020 JLU. I read some reviews criticizing the installation instructions. My advice is to actually read them all the way through first. If you have a JL, just skip a few pages over to the JL instructions and you’re fine. It took me 30 minutes. The cutting board did have a little damage to it upon arrival but it’s not that bad. Everything perfect and I can’t wait to use it on the trail!

Das Produkt ist Super, nur war es schlecht verpackt. Ist wohl bei der Post runtergefallen und kahm voll verbogen an. Konnte es richten, aber neu sieht es jetzt halt nicht mehr aus.

Tolle Verarbeitung. Anleitung teilweise etwas unübersichtlich- aber wenn einmal kapiert, ist‘s sehr einfach.Edit: Nach nur 2 Tagen sieht die Tischplatte schon so aus trotz Gummikappen. Bisher keine Rückmeldung vom Verkäufer diesbezüglich.
