The two-piece design works with most popular spray head designs. It can be used when converting spray head zones to drip irrigation, also to cap off spray heads that are no longer necessary after plantings become established. Avoid wasting water and over-watering with this simple solution.

Great idea and product.
Worked for multiple sprinkler head types. Needs to be closed very tightly. Recommend.

Great water saving device
Needed to cap toro pop ups and this did the trick. Removed large areas of lawn and replaced with drought tolerant shrubs. Capping takes about a minute. The water savings was substantial.

Quick and Easy
I was amazed how quick and easy it was to cap off some sprinkler heads I converted to drip. I thought it would take hours and it took 30 mins to cap off 17 sprinklers.

Works great once you realize best way to install
Have purchased this twice. First a 5 pack . . . and then needing more . . .a 25 pack. Will likely share extras with neighbors. The original irrigation contractor overdid it a bit so we ended up with 13 unnecessary sprinklers. The name brand simple main cap closure is nearly as costly as a complete new sprinkler so I decided to try these. Once you realize you need to scavenge the white plastic ring off the top of the pop up assembly (just screw off the sprinkler jet end from the stalk itself after removing the main cap) and that this cap-off device goes on that white ring installed in the main cap you will be fine.
