"GOLF COURSE NEW"....
Just as the product saids... LawnLift. It looks fresher.. Greener looking, and a healthier manicured lawn appearance, looks absolutely darn good.. and I've still have plenty left for any needed touchups in my (10' x 10') front yard. I used only 8 oz. of Lawnlift concentrate to 2 gallons water in under 40 minutes.(No Breaking).. I could have gotten away with using 6 or 7 oz of concentrate but I desired that darker Kentucky blue grass look better...Even gave it a quick light 2nd coating after the 1st coating had dried with the Sun out (20min).A good tip is to stick with a "Decent" sprayer that works and doesn't drip or leak all over your hands, clothing, or property.. The included 2gal Combo-sprayer that came with this Lawnlift Combo kit that I had purchased from Amazon wasn't the same Lawnlift Bottle pictured in their advertizement... they substituted it with a Flo-Master HD2. It was flimsy and faulty immediately upon using.. The spray pattern coming out of fan tip putted, spurted, dripped, and dribbled out so uneven, I stopped using it and drove to HomeDepot to purchased a "Roundup" 2 gallon sprayer (ITEM#190459)-(PART# 182420) $19 and it came with a triple All in One Rotating Multi Nozzle Tip.. I just applied vaseline on rubber O-rings per its instructions with my finger tip and my sprayer has been 100% leak and drip free ever since!! It's fan tip is very accurate and wide that I didn't even use any cardboard to edge my walkways! But be careful yall and follow Lawnlift's Instructions for better tapering results ... and, please use Good Quality gloves or you will be trying to remove this pigmentation from your hands for a whole week! You "MUST AGITATE" solution within sprayer while you are working or microbial paint sediments will greatly clog up "ANY" good sprayer !! Switch it and shake it around.. don't give micro particles in paint a chance to settle at bottom of jug to clog straw...try trimming straw inside jug so it isn't exactly flushed with any of its bottom sediments... try to refill jug while your using it as soon as you notice the volume is near 3 fingers low...try and have your solutions Already Made Up in anykind of 1gallon reserved container this way if you run short all you have to do is release air inside jug, screw off sprayer cap, shake up reserved bottle, add to sprayer, reclose jug, agitate, and continue spraying. The key is keep it moving, moving, moving ! Avoid distractions kids, pets, long neighborhood conversations, house phone's, ect and you demenish the sprayer chances of becoming clogged . I schedule my breaks if any, and if I do take a break I turn my sprayer upside down and use FORCED AIR to clean out my nozzle very throughly until I return quickly.. When job is completed throughly rinse jug using plenty water and again forced air. Yes it's worth it to me!My friends and relatives were truly dumbfoundead when I told them that I didn't go through any contractors like TruGreen, LawnDoctor, but that I had only purchased this kit for under $70... I was still 100% amazed at my final results after purchasing my Roundup Multi Tip Sprayer... it can clog just as well, but it didn't leak and drip all over the place like the Flo Master... All is forgiven. I have since ordered extra lawnlift paint for my friends and relatives who have now hired my services !!Its nothing like having "Happie, Friends, Grass" and a more attractive yard.. just buy whichever sprayer you are comfortable with and enjoy a great lawn all year round.

The paint is great...the sprayer is horrible
The paint is great...the sprayer is horrible. We spent as much time cleaning the nozzle as we did painting the lawn.

Does what it is intended to do!
Five stars for doing what it is intended to do, but with important notes about how to use it. This review is for the do-it-yourself homeowner, especially those affected by the drought in the west and required to cut back on landscape watering.Pros: It makes otherwise brown and ugly grass look lush and happy. Especially nice on tall fescue (I have Marathon sod), but also worked well on some areas with invading St. Augustine type grass. To blend in with mixed grasses requires a little sprayer wand practice but it can be done effectively.Cons: It is paint, don't think dye, think paint. It clogs, it splashes, it splatters on your shoes, skin, pants, etc. Little bits of overspray on sidewalks or driveways can be wiped up with a wet sponge - if done quickly, within a couple of minutes.Tips: Gather supplies together first: latex gloves, one or two 5 gallon buckets of warm or hot water, 1 gallon plastic water jug to mix the paint in, mixing cups (plastic drink cups work fine), one of the cups with hot water to immerse the clogged sprayer head in on a regular basis. Consider buying a second sprayer to use spare nozzle so one can soak while the other is being used. Can also use the wand from the second sprayer as an extension on the first wand making it much easier to get the nozzle down near the grass without having to stoop over. The sprayer I received was a 2 gallon Roundup sprayer made by The Fountainhead Group. These are available at Home Depot for about $20 and it's less expensive to buy the whole sprayer than individual parts. Most important tip I can give, the nozzle clogs quickly. I used it on the "cone" setting, which is the finest setting, it might work better using the "fan" setting but I cannot yet attest to that because I did not do it this first time out. But just be sure to have a cup of hot water available to plunge it into and give a quick "shot" to blow it out. The other tip is figure out in advance where you are going to dump the cleaning water, obviously not in any drain leading to the sewer system or draining to the street, some unobtrusive part of the yard or something. It will take several fills to flush it out. And finally, the instructions say to spray 2" to 3" from the grass. This may be best if you are painting the entire area and making it as uniform as possible, but I was trying to blend in some really dry areas with others not so brown and it worked best to keep the wand higher and do a little swirling motion, maybe 12" to 15" above the grass. I found a ratio of 8:1 to be about right, could possibly have gone to 10:1. Hope this helps.

Novel Idea for a dead lawn.
Let my lawn die because of drought conditions. 800 sq ft lawn. Makes the dead lawn look better. It sure takes a lot of this paint material to cover 800 sq ft. I bought half a gallon. Really wasn't enough, and the paint is quite costly.

kills grass
the grass looked great at first, but I guess it covered the sunlight. It started drying even more after I had applied it.
