The best Green Tea with Rice that I have found anywhere.
We drink a lot of green tea with rice in this household. This is the first time I have tried this brand and going forward I will not purchase any other kind. Smooth taste at a reasonable price. I can recommend it highly.

One of the BEST Dragonwell Green Teas I've Tried
I love tea. I've tried a lot of teas, everything from bad tea to fine tea, and I also like variety often switching between black, green, oolong, and puh-erh. And for all the green teas I've tried Dragonwell is a relatively new addition to my collection and so I've ordered a number of different brands to identify which is best. There are several brands sold on Amazon that are good, like Davidson's and Solstice Tea Traders, but I would argue this one is the best I've tried yet.The first time I tried Dragonwell tea, it was in a tea sampler, and I had no idea what awaited me. It has a mild sweetness with a smooth, toasty flavor with nutty undertones. It's a clean, balanced, and satisfying green tea.Unlike other green teas, the leaves are rolled flat and they don't seem to swell up when steeped. I heap my infuser basket full of leaves, to the top, and re-steep it all day long. It's somewhat forgiving, but will begin to bitter if steeped too long and weak if not steeped long enough. I find steeping until it develops a slight cloudiness makes for the ideal cup. If you like a good gunpowder green, you'll probably find this an enjoyable variety.

Good quality gunpowder tea
The tea very good in this price range. Definitely better than grocery store tea and better than another brand of gunpowder tea I bought from Amazon. The taste is pleasant, not bitter, has a bit of smoky flavor. The color is ligh golden, not brown as some reviewers have described. Maybe learn how to make the tea first? It isn't a high end quality tea, it does have twigs along with leaves but it's very good for the price and I will buy it again.

Do not over steep
I usually order oolong tea, but gave the green tea a try. I learned quickly not to over steep. Yuck. The color is a yellowish so don't pour a little out of your pot and think oh it needs more time. This tea is good, it does upset my stomach a tad. It's just more bitter than my oolong so It is taking some getting use to. I am new to tea, and my biggest challenge for all of them is steep time. I almost need to keep a chart of times and how much I like it. I am a caffeine junky and though this is a high content caffeinated tea, it's not a jittery thing for me, keep in mind I love caffeine. however I would not have this after dinner. All in all I like this tea, I just need more experience with steeping.

Some things were never meant to go together... and they're in this tea!
Smells just AWFUL! When I ordered it, I was looking for a green tea with rose petals as a less cafeinated version of a favorite Russian black tea that has roses in it. I saw the rose petals, lavender, corn flowers, and peach flavoring. I somehow missed the chocolate and peppermint. This is NOT a pleasant combination. Neither I nor my husband liked the smell at all!

It’s delicious
Brew 1.5 tsp in 350 ml of 175F water for two minutes. Zero astringency or bitterness. I like to add two packets of Splenda to my tea, and it’s a game changer.I can get several steepings for each batch of leaves, at least two- but three or more are possible. The leaves unfurl and become enormous, so do NOT use a tea ball or a smaller teabag for this. The leaves need room to fully expand. Use a basket infuser, or brew it in a gaiwan or kyusu.I also recommend removing the tea from its bag and storing it in a glass canning jar. For maximum freshness and a longer shelf life, I suggest adding an oxygen absorbing packet and a moisture control packet to the jar, and keep it stored in a cool to cold dark area.

Delicious and not bitter
I grew up on the brown rice tea served at my Grandma's house (and our house, too). This tea has a very nice roasted flavor that is very satisfying. It also has plenty of staying power and a small bubble infuser with about a heaping teaspoon of tea can more than flavor two cups of tea.
