Great at stopping squirrels eating the bird seed

I actually purchased this as my main problem was with rats climbing up my bird feeder pole... it works perfectly (also the squirrels are perplexed).Whilst quite pricey I'd certainly buy another if I installed another feeder. The birds soon got used to it and it doesn't bother them.

The baffle was easy to assemble and kept the squirrels at bay for some time. They worked out a way round it so I had to make some adjustments. Works well.

The media could not be loaded.  I had squirrels raiding the sunflower seeds from the bird feeders. Video is a little grainy as I zoomed in, but this is one baffled squirrel. Incidently just after I filmed this the squirrel climbed a concrete post that supports out washing line (about 2m away) and jumped across onto the feeder, so I reccomend a feeder is installed 3m from other structures for this device to be successful. This was a cheaper alternative to buying squirrel proof bird feeders (which don't work for ground feeders anyhow). The squirrels get some food as they clean up seeds dropped by birds (even though I use less mess bird food), so I don't feel like I am starving them, just ensuring the birds get their fair share. It would have been nice to have some guidance on the height at which you should install the baffle. I put it just over a meter high.

Arrived well packed and undamaged, were very easy to fit to my bird feeders, thanks to the included adaptor collars of various sizes, and totally effective in preventing squirrels and rats from climbing the feeder to steal the bird foodAn excellent buy - very happy!

Ok it is difficult to stop these alien rodents posing as sweet squirrels but my tips for using it on a bird feeder pole firstly you need a big patch of grass so they cant jump from hedges cars fences gates etc secondly grease the pole liberally with generic (not the famous V stuff) petroleum jelly available on amazon in big tub and watch them slide off. Wear disposal gloves to apply said jelly. It does the trick and survives rain . Together they work well you can even put some on baffle edgesReview 2023 update love the baffle now it really does do the trick but gets coveredib seed debris and bird poop so need a wash in situ with boiling water (when bird free!) and dishwash liquid .I then spray anti bac liquid on it again with no birds on it

Squirrels knawing the feeding holes of bird feeders and made the eating holes too big and the seeds just kept falling out ..that's what prompted me to buy this product..have to say very easy to assemble on my pole no problems ...just squirrels jumping off the fence and sitting in the top of it and picking the seed ....phew....using a bit of sense I moved the whole thing away from the fence ..hey presto it works ..they can't get up inside it and I've provided their own dishes for their peanuts underneath....everybody happy!!! Great fun to watch!!!

I’ve had this for about 6 weeks and so far not a single squirrel has got past it. It took about two minutes to fit it. Well worth the money as squirrels can raid all your bird food in a day.
